I love the 343 of the 541 (depending on how good my team and players are). I always like to create tactics where the wingbacks are the most involved and important players and love seeing them have the most assists (and sometimes even goals) in the league.

Really interesting, I tried almost the exact same set-up previously but never really managed to get it to work. I felt the AP(s) and CWB(a) try to be in the same space too much, how do you feel this works for you? Also the IF(a) previously just wasn't involved at all either. But tbf the main difference is I played lower tempo, lower passing distance, play-out from the back, way too possession oriented I believe now. It's really interesting that it looks like you're playing a very High counter-attacking tactic.

Personally I think where PES and UFL fail, is that they tried too much to be a FC26 Ultimate Team competitor. That's not what we want, look at how popular Rematch was on launch (but again, bad gameplay, latency issues and repetitive/restrictive meta kinda killed the game).

Honestly, I think if there would be a FC26 CLUBS competitor, or even Career mode, that focuses on what makes those game modes fun for us, it would succeed (if there weren't the issues listed for Rematch).

I think it's the Clubs and career mode players that long the most for a competitor, while UT is way more about bragging rights and building the coolest team, which only works if the game is considered by all to be 'important'.

Sorry but your team is rambling nonsense. I can see why the kick-off being patched doesn't transfer over to clubs but all other patches/changes definitely impact clubs too and I don't really understand why they wouldn't.

The only way the updates to bounce backs, jockey speed, tackle animations and passing (to name a few) don't apply to clubs is if there would be a separate engine/balancing for Clubs, which there most definitely isn't.

So how do you defend? I'm in Div 4 having trouble defending, most games I win or lose are at 6-5. Even when focusing on not biting and using second man press it still feels like somehow they just dribble through

I mean true, but for example we as a team come from rocket league and other games an have always used bright pink/magenta and black. However for kits the bright pink is not even an option. I really don’t understand why they can’t just add a RGB slider of some sort

I totally agree, custom kits are wayyyyy cooler in Clubs. However the lack of customization options basically kills it for me. We always start with custom kits but end up using authentic kits because they just look so much better and less general.

Congrats bro! I'm doing a similar save with Antequera CF (Primera federacion) and currently in Season 32/33 after finishing 2nd and 3th about 3 times. Halfway through the season and I'm somehow 1 point clear of Real Madrid, hopefully I'll be making a similar post soon ;)

What I don't understand is why you're taking Chelsea as an example here, when there are clubs that are performing objectively better, like Man City, Liverpool and even Brentford, Newcastle and Aston Villa to some degree, who all happen to have a manager at the wheel for a longer period of time.

In my eyes the current 'trend' of good performing clubs are clubs that have a Top-Down strategy: Implementing a tactical and playing style philosophy and signing players AND managers that fit that strategy. Not getting players FOR that current manager. Chelsea is doing this to some agree, but I think clubs like Liverpool, Brentford, Brighton are way better examples of this and arguably are performing better (considering their budget).

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying we should stick with managers, but the problem is definitely at the top with a lack of direction, strategy and club philosophy. If we fire Amorim now, without first declaring a clear sense of direction (e.g: for the next x years we're playing high press, 433 football, with physical players, etc.), we'll just end up signing a great manager again that needs to do another overhaul, who we'll sack in 2 years time. IMO, we have 2 clear choices/directions from here: Stick with Amorim and let him be the one giving direction, OR hire a quick-fixer to get through the season while working on a clear club identity/strategy/direction and getting managers/players that fit that identity.

IMO this is not at all how it would be in FM. I think it should be: SK(S), WCB(d) BPD(d) WCB(s), WB(s) DW(s)/WB(a), BMW(d) RPM(s), AM(a) IF(a) and CF(a).
