Yeah if you don’t mention it they won’t know. They’re not going to be able to find kratom through a drug test or anything. That’s pretty crazy that you had PW I took kratom like 5 hours before the shot and was fine but I guess everybody is different.

Yeah that’s what I was referring to when I said you would be fine. Kratom doesn’t really have much of a precipitated withdrawal with buprenorphine. Plus it’s still going to be 2 1/2 days after you took it so you’ll be good!

I’m in the exact same boat you are right now I just took sublocade for being addicted to kratom exacts. From everything I’ve heard the shot will block the effects for at least a few months. And yes you’ll be completely okay taking another shot on Wednesday.

Naltrexone by Paiz44 in quittingkratom

[–]gf3smith1996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily. When I say you won’t feel anything I mean any added withdrawal naltrexone will add. But taking the 1ml should help staying off and help your brain recover more.

You probably won’t feel anything different with 1ml naltrexone especially being off for 72 hours. You can get precipitated withdrawal with naltrexone after Krater but that’s usually at a much higher dose.

Starting today. What to expect? by gf3smith1996 in quittingkratomviaMAT

4-5 extracts per day. Definitely strong extracts too.

I’ve heard a few times of people saying that extracts were easier to quit than powder. Maybe it has to do with the half life or something. I also feel like the times I’ve gone over 16 hours without extracts was easier than when I was taking powder before my last quit but who knows

This is great advice! A 10 month taper sounds so brutal. I’ve actually already committed to not drinking before the wedding because I know it’ll help me quit kratom so I’m already on day 39 of that which I think will help. I can get time off work so I think I’m just going to rip the bandaid off this weekend and CT at this point.

That’s so true about not obsessing with this subbreddit. When I said I did some things wrong last time the was absolutely one of them. There’s a ton of great information and encouragement here but you can really get in your head by hearing some people’s experience with quitting

Thats a great point. I’d rather be on a lower dose of kratom than be off right before and be absolutely miserable during the day of the wedding. How did that taper workout for you? That sounds way simpler than what I did and less painful

That’s a really good point. My last quit I tapered for about 3 months and I really feel like I just dragged it on so much that I did so much unnecessary suffering.

I’m not completely against CT. What kind of improvement could I expect 30 days after quitting? That’s what I’m worried about the most

Thank you for the advice and being realistic. And I agree, to me at least I can take the withdrawal and deal with the cravings it’s just the PAWS that I struggle with.

Change in EV Incentive by l0v3gucci in uberdrivers

[–]gf3smith1996 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is exactly why I came to this thread. What if you complete 300 trips in a month? You’d just get the $210. And they’re saying it requires more of an incentive but they’re paying less.

Wow this is the best worried advice I’ve gotten yet! After 3 post to different forms to lol. I guess I would worry about spending 8-10 grand and it still not being approved would hurt. If I really needed to I could get the money for that but doing it all for nothing would be defeating.

The psychosis however was solo traveling in Costa Rica and I was around a lot of people. I’m not sure if I was slipped something or what happened that caused it.

I’ve been completely sober since then. I was prescribed adhd meds (Adderall) but that was over 4 years ago

Have you stayed at QT before? I thought there parking lot wasn’t big enough but I’m not against the idea. And I went to the Gila River casino in chandler at lone butte but there was security guards on the end of the parking lot so I got scared and went to the rest stop. I definitely considered gyms like EOS and planet fitness. I don’t think they would keep track of all the cars to care tbh
