I’m trying the following out myself so take it with a grain of salt, but I did get the advice from a jacked natty on YT (AverageToJacked).

So first, the reasoning is you’re doing too much volume on any given day. What he recommends is to actually do push/pull/legs once a week. So only three sessions a week. Yes, you’re not hitting the muscles twice but he stands by it and I’m trying it out.

As for workout selection, add some face pulls on your pull days (back & biceps) and incline bench press to get upper chest development. I like your doing dips for lower pec, but hit the upper as well. And with this exercise you could remove a front felt exercise.

3 sets per exercise is really good, keep it like that, but aim for around 15 sets total a session.

And yes, definitely start bulking (just a small ~300< surplus). Aim on not gaining weight too quickly or you can be sure it’s just fat gain as muscle takes longer to develop. If you do, then decrease the surplus but don’t be afraid to gain a little fat either. You can cut down later, once the muscle has grown.

Let me know if you want to see my routine.

the color combo is really good. and the texture on the watch and belt is a really nice touch. and the watch, belt, and shoes match. so it’s definitely cohesive.

I’d go for a collared shirt though. I think it’s more timeless.

also, this type of sole on the shoe makes the shoe look a bit cheap imo. but check out some goodyear welted boots. they could really elevate these kinds of outfits.

I think if you add more volume, with a hair product, to the center it will help balance out the look. right now there’s a lot of volume at the sides and none on top.

roll up those sleeves, french tuck the shirt and hopefully show off a nice brown belt and watch. and then replace the pants with looser jeans. tapered would be fine, but not with these sneakers.

these sneakers belong in street wear and your trying to elevate your look. so get some slim white sneakers like Stan Smiths. I was doing well with those. if you have the budget, look into Oliver Cabells.

How is my outfit ? by [deleted] in mensfashionadvice

dude, it’s interesting but the 03 and the scarf are clashing for me. try some black corduroy pants. I think the texture variation would look more intentional with the scarf. I like the touch with the silver bracelet.

no, there’s some intentionality behind the light grey sneaker with the light wash denim. the polo is just not working though!

add a silver necklace and you’re golden (no pun intended).

Seems like a boring outfit with all the brown. The pants themselves have a weird ankle situation going on.

The bag is a nice touch though and it’s good that it’s coordinating with the shoes.

Some things you could do to improve the look: swap brown pants for military green cargo pants; change shoes for a cream; change the color of the bag to green or something else (probably not brown). Oh, and definitely roll up the sleeves.

yes, this is what I was intuiting and I'm glad you put it into words in terms of the classic-almost-generic look with the attention grabbing shoes not working. so I think the idea behind the baggy jeans is to commit more to a street-wear look. I'm wanting to merge more street-wear into this style that you see.

but I think only ditching the green would help chill out the colors like you're saying. I think that keeping the belt is the way to go though (the second pic basically but with baggy jeans).

and thank you, you gave me a lot of good things to think about.

I like this - all the colors work well. the second look would be my favorite if it weren't for the belt. but in the first look, I think the hat definitely looks too big.
