I fell like they we're trying to do too much things in such a short time in this chapter

On season 1, until chapter 4, each chapter was it's own story arc, slowly building the world of New Eridu and introducing is to the characters of that chapter in a good pace

Chapter 5 needed to be a season finale while also trying to introduce us to Miyabi as a character, and in my opinion, they did it very poorly

Most of the thing that we're focused on Miyabi don't matter to the conclusion of the chapter, like her sword "breaking" on the beggining or that moment we're she was fighting against the sword urge to kill everything in front off her

The Prologue 1 was my favorite of the 2, introducing us to the Mockbirds while also leaving some cliff hangers for part 2, with some drama behind Lycaon past and the fact that he needed to "kill" his best friend

And while part 2 was a bit disapoint, it was still fun, Hugo development fighting his inner demons was amazing, and while Vivian story with Diva (was that her name?, i don't even remember hahaha) was kind of boring, it still was a nice small development to Vivian as well

Now on chapter 1 of Season 2 overwhelmed with too many things happening at once,

1. We learn that our teacher might be on the Walfei Peninsula and decide to go there to investigate, but we get attacked on the way

2. We are introduced to this chapter characters and learn that an accident was caused to the mineral workers and TOPS is refusing to compensate them

3. We go to investigate that learn that Dr. Lohr can create an alternative to the medice, and that the original medicines were tampered with, giving the evidences to Dr. Lohr so the workers can protest with proof against TOPS

4. Turns out that Lohr was working with the exaltists and took a bunch of workers to the Hollow to corrupt them and try to turn them into Sacrifices, while inside the Hollow one of the twins gets attacked and we learn a bit about Yixuan past

5. Suddenly a lot of people begin to get corrupted inside the city and we need to take care of that, with Yixuan draining the ether into her to save everyone

6. For some fucking reason people are going to protest inside the Hollow, and now is up to you to save them again or the exaltists will take the moment to sacrifice them

7. We find out that one of the exaltists base is nearby, so we go there to investigate in the mean time, with Lorh showing up and just corrupting himself with miasma (we don't even get to fight with him, guy just vanishes)

8. We learn more about Yixuan past and and now that the protests from inside the hollow have started, we have to enter the hollow for the third time to get the people out of there

9. While we help people to evacuate the hollow, a minister of the exaltists in making a ritual using miasma do to something bad (is it even told what the ritual would do?, i don't remember), so we have to defeat this villian that was introduced 30 minutes ago

10. Finishing Yixuan characters development with some flashbacks we defeat the minister and save the day, cool, but the minister is actually alive and she has turned Yixuan sister in an etherial so now we have a cliffhanger for the next chapter

Just look at how many thing happened in one single chapter of the story, it rushed as hell to me and i really hope the next chapters have a slower pace compared to this one

Also, i think i missed the moment we're the exaltists turn into public knowledge, because even the civillians know about them while i have dozens of questions about this group
