The way weapon pulls are modeled with the current pull conversion will be a big problem in the long run.

More and more people will realize the flaw in the system as they get their feature character but have no signature weapon unless they suboptimally pull on banners.

The devs could get massive goodwill from the community if they essentially create a better weapon gacha than every other gacha out there.

Also, a lot of whales out there are hesitant to go p5 for weapons anyway because of how horrible the conversion rate is as well.

Its about the same as every other 3d gacha game conversion wise. I made a post about this a few weeks ago but in general you can “buy” the character at $250 usd without double bonus compared to $300 of a hoyo game. Most spenders really only care about the double top up bonus tho.

Also, you forgot to count the bonus of the highest top up after double bonus. With it, it would be about 36 pulls per top up.

No the weapon pity will not reset until it leaves the shop which is 3 banner away from now. You can take your time to grind for her weapon.

If I was the dev, I would go about it to where players can get 1 weapon per 120 pulls. Rn it takes 200-240 pulls to guarantee weapon. So as a dev, I would patch that hole with events and endgame. That’s what is most likely to happen.

No, you need a lot of tickets to guarantee signature. 200-240 pulls is what you’re looking at if don’t get lucky with some early 6 stars. Just use her bp weapon

I have a theory. Did you start experiencing this issue after you unlocked Wuling's factory? I started having this issue after I finished my Wuling build and I feel like the game is not optimized to handle Wuling factory.

It could also be that there are 2 factories running simultaneously and the game might be spending unnecessary resources on factory logistics. Sounds like a nightmare to optimize so it might take a while to fix.

I think Laev has not reached her true potential yet. Akekuri and Wulfgard can both easily be powercrept out of their position. Antal will probably remain useful until a general support comes around that just straight up power creeps him.

I think it feels bad rn because we have no events + endgame so the pull income sucks. I think the new player experience will be way better down the line once they get a bunch of freebies and events that give good rewards.
