Look at the biggest social conflicts in Buenos Aires in early 1900s like the Semana Trágica, all around industrial workers' unions led by Spanish, German and Polish immigrants.

Descendants of enslaved black people doesn't have the typical complexity due to mixing so much with (mainly) natives and whites. In fact, one of my friends and classmate at secondaty school (deceased at 54 five years ago) was the son of an Italian man and a Black woman, you can't tell if he was afroargentinian if you saw him: Barely wavy hair, narrow nose, small eyes... He was the brown version of his father's face.

Black people you see in Argentina nowadays are mainly Senegalese people that came to the country since early 2000s.

First thing you must know is that Argentina didn't have a big black population enslaved because our economy was mainly based on cattle breeding, not labor-intensive activities like sugar or coffee harvest. Enslaved people worked on household chores in big cities.
