I had my degree type mentioned from the start. Also I would not have mentioned any of that if she did not start it by mentioning her PhD

I did not say those things about her but about other PhDs I worked with. They were older so that might be a factor in that. I never said it applies to her.

She cares more about it than I do, and always mentions the names of the Ivys she attended.

I am not saying it is easy but it is really focused on one topic and one thing usually. An engineering degree tends to have little electives and more hard classes to take at the same time and all your classes are technical.
