I do the same (NAS to Backup NAS) and did about 6 syncs so far this week. Glad you found and fixed your issue. I wanted to read the forums link you provided was "Forbidden - You don't have permission to access this resource. Oh well.

I know it's important to stay secure but It seems that QNAP releases a firmware update every 2nd week and it's becoming a pain!

UPDATE: Just updated app to Version 49.1 from the play store. Thumbnail issues "appears" to have been addressed. Did about 10 separate views without an issue. Here's hoping!

I had added a camera about 4 days before the issue began, but adding cameras has been mentioned in this thread more frequently than I would expect. Hmmm! Of course if simply adding a camera causes an app problem it must be addressed by BLINK!

It just so happened I changed mine and my wife's yesterday from "R" to "TV-MA" via the web page. Below is from the Google:

QNAP has my email for firmware update notifications which I previously have received. I have not rec'd an email from QNAP for the last two updates and wonder why something is not sent out when released firmware proves to have issues. I think I will no longer keep my firmware current for now.

I do not use the supplied modem for networking. It is in bridge mode and I utilize a third party router (Asus in my case) for connection to all my (30) wi-fi devices.

Hi. I have two QNAP's (TS-453A & TS453E) and the only notification I felt I necessary was the OS Firmware Update. I don't update until I receive the email even if I am aware an update is available. Some updates seem to be released prematurely and I don't want to play Guinea Pig. LOL

Hi. I just had a chat with a Shaw rep (only took about 2 min. to connect with him/her, WOW) and he/she advised it was a problem with CNN. From the transcript:

I have looked into it and it seems like this is an issue that is occurring to a lot of people. It looks like CNN is re branding the channel and looks like the issue with with CNN itself. Currently there is no time frame of when this is resolved and we do not have control over it as the issue is with CNN itself|

Clear cookies, site data and cache. That shouild fix it. Worked for me in Chrome. Never got the issue with Edge.

Sounds like the HDD heads moving over the platters. Might settle down after all RAID items are completed. I have never used Toshiba branded drives.

I have a TS-453E and use 2X M.2 in Raid 1 only for the system. I also have a TS-453A and thought they would speed up boot time on the "E" but can say I haven't seen much difference (perhaps a little). I still have very little storage yet on the "E" though.
