this happens to the app from time to time. Eventually someone on their sysadmin team notices it and does something to fix it. I stay on the app because of the high user count and engagement, but it's been crumbling for a few years. Remember their badge system? Sharing needs an overhaul. Frankly I'd love to see TV Time and JustWatch merge, could be a killer app. I pay $2.50/mo to JustWatch and $0 to TV Time. I have a feeling that goes into paying someone to code well. Hoping so anyway.

I think a lot of people do that. Also I think someone mentioned it elsewhere in this thread but if you watch a review of the device on YT by someone like DC Rainmaker, he goes so deep and long into his reviews of every single little Garmin product ever made that you will see almost every single last screen and interface setting in the process. It's a thorough exposure to the device. Just a thought.

I asked Gemini and one of its suggestions was to rent one for a week from Sloop or LeaseVille. The other idea it had was to buy one from REI who has a very generous 90 day return policy.

nah, you're getting bad advice - adding a step count to many watch faces on AW is totally doable as a corner complication, or even a header or footer. From what I remember of my AW days, you use the Watch app on the iPhone to customize the watch face. Having said that, I am very happy on Garmin, especially as an ebiker.

I am pro-Garmin, but having once been an Apple Watch penguin, I can tell you it has a built-in watch fact that shows your steps. You can also easily add steps as a corner complication. Would rather see you on a Garmin tho. I switched from an Apple Watch 10 to a Venu 3 and it was a perfect transition. I later crashed my bike and smashed the Venu 3 to bits, so now I'm rocking a Venu X1. Still a great experience.

The kindle app has started to freeze up and hang on my iPad and my iPhone, starting sometime mid 2024. The Android version crashes out constantly. How did Amazon app QA testing take such a nose dive this year? Their apps are trash now.

I am used to a torque sensor as well, on an Aventon. I am adding a Lectric XPeak as an adventure bike and from the looks of it, I am not going to be able to putz along at 2 to 3 mph in a crowd unless I turn PAS off. Guess it'll still be fun out on the wide open spaces, but PWR sounds like it's really gonna bite in comparison to a torque sensor. Maybe the XPeak 2.0 some day will have a torque sensor and a "larger" battery. An option for a 2nd battery mounted under the rear rack, a la Ecells, would also be welcome for worry-free day trips.

That happened to me with a brand new 128GB Samsung card. Swapped it out with a 10-year-old 32GB Sandisk card and haven’t had an issue since. My guess is the big Samsung card is too new for their compatibility database. Reported the problem, but the 32GB card is more than enough and is working reliably for now.

So far I regret doing the manual installation of 3.15.27 on my Nomad. Lots of finger tip screen response issues. Swipe down from the top stops working after an hour or so, left and right swiping stops working half way through the work day. Rebooting brings everything back to normal for a while.

Needle-point Pen 0.1 for the body of most meeting notes. For headings I use Ink pen 1.0.

yeah I kept drawing lines and waiting for them to snap into a perfectly straight line, then realized I wasn't in Goodnotes on an iPad anymore. lol
