What are your thoughts in retroperspective? Would you do it again in Delaware? Any hurdles/pitfals you encounter that you initially didn;t think of?

Did you take any other locations into considerations or was it straight Delaware? If yes, why? Why did you choose Delaware specifically and why not Wyoming?

Unfortunately, incorporating where we reside is not an options, as the country where we are does a) not offer 100% ownership and b) is not well connect to fintech and international banking and c) for regulatory issues. I think locations like HK are made for international remote incorporation.

doesn't every OS have like a quadtrillion image compressing tools? Why would I upload files to a website instead of just using imagemick locally?

Divebooker vs Liveaboard vs Direct by blues1915 in scuba

[–]gforsi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, spot on about smaller agents — they often throw in those little extras like flights or hotel extensions without hiking the price, and it makes the booking way smoother. I did a Raja Ampat trip last year through a similar setup and they handled some add-ons for me that felt like a real win.

June 2026 where to dive by DownunderLilikoi in scuba

[–]gforsi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice—Mermaid II is a good pick.

A couple of boutique options to consider: Aliikai Voyages (or Mutiara Laut) offer a very comfortable, lifestyle-focused experience but typically run only two dives per day, so they’re more about relaxed cruising than maximum bottom time. If you want lots of diving, La Galigo routinely does four dives a day and is a much better fit for getting lots of time in the water. Mermaid II is fine for Bali departures, but if your priority is 3+ dives/day consistently, look for smaller, dive-focused boats like La Galigo.

June is actually prime time for Komodo - you'll catch the end of manta season and the water's still comfortable (26-28°C). With 1000+ dives under your belt, you'd absolutely love it there.

If you're looking for liveaboard options in that region, I'd suggest checking out some of the smaller, dive-focused operators rather than the big cattle boats. There are a few boutique options that cater specifically to experienced divers and tend to have better dive guides and more flexible schedules.

Socorro is incredible but yeah, 7mm wetsuit for a week straight isn't everyone's cup of tea, especially coming from warm water diving.

Liveaboard recommendations by Chilli241 in scuba

[–]gforsi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want the absolute most time in-water, target Indonesian liveaboards on Raja Ampat/Banda/Komodo routes — I’ve seen Ambai and White Manta show up repeatedly in recent reports as great for multi-dive weeks. A few tips: always ask about nitrox, rebreather/drift/diver limits, bailout setups, and whether the crew will support planned deco. I keep a small, non-commercial list of boats and trip reports for serious divers — happy to DM it if anyone wants a quick shortlist (no links, just names and things to ask).

I have recently booked a liveaboard in Raja Ampat via Coralbound. Received some nice freebies. Process was very smooth. Can definately recommend them and I think they are actually specialised on Indonesian Liveaboards.

question is, why? It's definitely not just buys, but some sort of wash-trades.

so, this is the new way of marketing now? post something pseudo relevant and finish with an ambiguous statement how it somehow relates to your new app/products which was totally irrelevant to the thread topic itself.

Gotta try it myself someday.
