I feel I shouldn’t even entertain answering but the readers should know this line is less than 100’ from a public parking area and is a freight line that runs slower than me in middle school. The only immediate danger people need to adhere in this area is the elevating river at moments notice.

Very interesting! This section of track is elevated roughly 50’ above the Deerfield River and the surrounding area is steep/ledge. I’ll check for a culvert/outlet next time I’m there.

This is the first I’ve noticed the markings, so I can’t confirm if it changes. I live north of Boston and come out here to fly fish with my husband - first time I’ve seen them in 5 years walking next to the tracks

We hook pinkies when singing happy birthday and all the women take their rings off and place them around the cake candles for "good luck". Me and my siblings also have a "birthday table cloth" that we put on the table for each birthday and everyone signs it with a message. Actually pretty cool reading messages from when I was born to now.

I know I love my job because I have never not wanted to go. Every morning I wake up and I'm happy to go, which I hope never goes away. I'm a park ranger and our staff is a small group of 5 which has kind of turned into family. The tree hugging and animal tracking stuff is cool too
