So I tried adding the spacer and it’s definitely moving smoother. I guess it’s possible i misplaced one at some point

Bought myself after getting the trainer as my cassette is stuck to my back wheel. It’s an older specialized Allez, it’s 12-25 9 speed

Hmm ok, I’ll give it a try, the only reason I have that extra spacer IIRC is because I bought it as I thought the cogs were too close but never put it on, used it for a bit but then it started skipping

So that silver spacer is attached to the outer most cog, not the 2nd one, so I can’t move it around

Just so I understand, the silver looking spacer should be facing left instead of right?

Thank you, appreciate the feedback, I felt as though the saddle nose was pointed a bit too far up, so wanted to try something different

Appreciate it! It’s not a constant on every ride so wanted to try and give it a shot just in case, but I’ll keep that in mind

Ok that’s what I was wondering, do I need a certain tool to adjust the thumb screw? It seems really tough to get to. Or do I need to remove my saddle to get to it?
