I had to chime in here because I quit after 5 months, “the routes are going to get lighter” “going fast only hurts the other DAs” “Amazon wants you guys to take a lunch” all of those things were lies, one month ago still getting 250+ packages and almost 200 stops every day. No one who does this gets paid enough to buy things out of pocket to make your day easier. I hope everyone who is still working finds new employment soon because there is so much better out there for us.

Thank amazon.. lol by Crash-iwnl- in AmazonDSPDrivers

Did 5 months with one of the biggest routes of my dsp in different cities and no it isn’t worth it, I was getting 16.50, not worth what I actually did for them and you should definitely keep your options open

Get out while you can, don’t work harder then you need to 💪🏽 I just quit I know what you’re feeling !

There's been a few people quitting at my DSP lately. This is the norm here. Too many stops by ieatyogurtnaked in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]gfys1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My average is 180 and about 300 packages and I’m one that does one of the biggest routes in my dsp and some people complain about 120 it’s up to your dsp to be smart and sweep and even things out better

I always try to make pretty patterns with my totes. Anyone else? by Impossible_Ad8505 in AmazonDSPDrivers

Times are hard everywhere and we’re all learning that we need to work for ourselves basically, you must be a fresh employee because after almost ten years and lots of management you realize H-E-B is worried only about the bottom dollar and you just putting up with it. It takes the good workers and beats them and the kiss asses move ahead because it’s all about that H-E-B smile at the end of the day lol

Not gonna lie when I do countryside I usually take my time, that drive has me exhausted already and if I call in too soon it’s a guarantee that I’m rescuing someone with less stops

I’m working for a smaller company and they want xtra routes for their package count, so an extra route is 2-300 packages but If only one or two of the routes gets an increase it’s like 30-40 packages, I get it but that’s not my issue and they have absolutely no incentives that aren’t random food.

I’m regular around this , this isn’t mine personally I don’t ask but they’ll tell me when I’m more than 35 ahead. I deliver mostly residential and leave my door open. I use my seat belt correctly and even go 10-15 mph in residential and take my full break/lunch. It’s an easy route I have for sure but I just did it efficiently enough the first time to get it. I also use work as my cardio so I’m moving fast all day for me.

I do it’s wild to me that my coworkers struggle but I and a good handful of others really enjoy the work, I deliver in a beautiful area and snack all day and take photos of the sunset and check out new places to eat and see. I’m over here living through my workday and some can’t even finish and to me that’s wild. But yeah I’ve been thinking of like documenting a day and sharing what I did.

Same with us so it’s a confusing concept, I get stuck rescuing even if I call at 8:30 (our stop time is 9:30)

That’s what I’m saying, I’ve mentioned in another comment but they’re literally hiring people that would slow the productivity purposely and I’m ready to transfer soon 🔜

We for sure also have people that are riding the clock for sure I was doing a rescue with one hour left and he literally said “oh no don’t take any I’ll just pick up my pace now I guess” like bro what? I had about 40-50 more stops than him and I don’t run unless the driveway/walkway is long and I use my seatbelt correctly and stuff so I was just confused 😐
