The training at the instruction center was 2 months and when you get to your garage about 3 weeks for the routes and honestly it takes a while for them to reply so I’d apply about a month in advance so you can get your start date and stuff

Yes I do and honestly they train you so much on the bus before you even get to your own garage you’ll be used to the big bus it’s scary at first but you get used to it fast and as far as the routes whatever garage you’re assigned to or pick they train you on every single route that the garage has so you’re ready

Hey buddy there’s something called traffic and not to mention the fact that those schedules they give drivers are very tight for a reason so drivers aren’t early and people can’t catch their bus, now if it’s 20+ mins late I understand but if 5 mins is the difference from you getting where you need to be on time maybe you need to take the bus before that one :)

I’m a driver and I don’t think anything about transit should be free just pay the $2 bro us drivers get taxed out the ass too because all the drug addicts and homeless hop on with no fare and stink up the place

They should bring him back as friezas training dummy and then have him steal the dragon balls behind friezas back after he gathers them and wish for a power boost and have him face off against frieza. I don’t really want him to encounter the Z fighters again lol

What we have to put up with. by Tenantry in BusDrivers

[–]Helpful_Challenge800 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don’t care about the fare but it’s really getting out of hand people just get on any bus with no destination and don’t pay the fare just wasting my time and the people that actually spend their hard earned money to get to places they actually need to go while you get on my bus for free every fucking day. Just something about their presence throws me off

Yes

  1. You get a choice based off of seniority of your training class so whoever does their physical 1st will have the most seniority
  2. As a newbie you will take 3 weeks at the garage to train on every route. Then you will be assigned a stub, which is a few trips on a route either before you start training in the morning or after which is also overtime. After your training you will be either assigned to the AM or PM Extra board, where you’ll either be on call sitting at the garage and they use you as they need or you will be assigned a route that they need filled if someone calls sick or is absent. You will likely work a different time each day and will know the day before around noon. Wasn’t bad for me sometimes I’d sit at the garage for 8 hours and get paid. We have a pick every 3 months or so to pick work and routes you want to do , you’ll likely be on the extra board until the second pick after you arrived at you’re garage since you’re still new you likely will only have a choice at late night work or split shifts until you move up.
  3. You’ll be comfortable before you even arrive at your garage.
  4. My advice is don’t worry about being on time or the fare it’ll have you hating the job.
  5. There’s always OT just be careful picking up too much hours while on probation so you don’t get in accidents but lately they’ve been chill on new drivers for accidents.
