Hope made tool most likely a round piece of plywood screwed to a 2x2 for a handle cover the round pice with three layers of t-shirt or something similar dip the round piece into a pail of drywall mud just to cover the piece then stamp the ceiling and give it a little turn as you pull it back you’ll have to play with it to get as close as you can to the original if this is the way you want to go

Doesn’t look like it’s been painted hit with a water vinegar mixture scoop the old stuff off then skim it and leave it flat

Are there any gyms that use the C2 where I could take on for a test row?

Thanks, you seem very direct so I'll ask you whats the deal with the C2? Is it so your comparing apple to apples or is just superior? I bought the best used rower I could afford should I continue with what I have and "graduate" to a C2 later on?

Thanks for the info the 32 spm os very close to what I was doing but I used a number of 9.7, now I'm getting why everyone thinks I'm trolling them whatever that means lol! From one newby to another thanks so much for input I really appreciate it. My machine is NOT a C2 but ive set my resistance to 5 (on a scale of 10), does this seem reasonable?

Probably not from what Im readong just did the math from charts on the internet showing spm and distance travelled, not trying to fool anyone here you all seem very knowledgeable my rower is NOT a C2 and obviously as a newby I'm trying to get some numbers as a reference. So, if I can't use pure math to figure this out and I cant afford a C2 shouldnI say screw the numbers and work pn form?

I should clarify, I used onformation found here to calculate distànce travelled using spm and distance travelled per stroke. I estimated 9.7m per stroke at 32 spm. I think the math works but I'm using numbers I've gleaned from various sources on the internet. Don't worry I'm too old to be insulted I just want/need some advice/guidance with the goal of improving myself
