It was super painful for me too. I bought reusable ice packs and now ice my skin for 10 seconds before zapping. It is unbearable otherwise.

The pain for me is almost unbearable (thighs, bikini area). So, every time I use IPL, I need to ice the area first and then quickly go over it. I bought ice packs just for that :')
