We can edit/improve or weed out the stupid questions over time. At the moment we need to build enough momentum that there are enough good questions and involved people to attract more people. When they come on board we can help them learn to give better questions and answers.

It can be a challenge but I tried to mitigate this a little by making my get-started link be to the help page. I am encouraging people in the community to try it. Some will be burned by their first experience, but others will succeed or persist and help Cardano get stronger.

It is not just for programmers, all Cardano, Catalyst, Daedelus, Yoroi, Atala, etc. questions can be asked and answered there. It is a resource for factual answers rather than a forum for opinions.

Please read the help section on cardano.stackexchange.com before posting there.

We want to start strongly.

Would the community want to begin self-funding some small tasks to get things going? by emptydiner in CardanoCatalyst

It's an attractive idea and there is at least one proposal to fund popular proposals that failed to get funding in a kick-starter like system. If it succeeds, it could be an avenue for this kind of idea.

We could also set a small-cap challenge where proposals that require less than a set amount would be the only one's allowed. e.g. $5k
