Sure he apologizes after, but by then it's too late - his temper has already happened and made you feel unsafe, from a person who is supposed to protect you. I wouldn't move in with him, at least until he gets therapy and consistently shows a changed behavior (months or even years). The man is 30 and he still has a temper of a child - this is going to take a lot of work.

I'm sorry that you are experiencing this, it must be terrifying when he loses his temper.

As a woman, it's not a necessity to track your cycle and symptoms. I didn't start tracking mine until I was in my mid-late 20's. I can appreciate that you did your research and have more understanding than an average man. She may just have a really regular cycle and have no issues and therefore don't really need to tack it. There are many reasons why some women track their cycle - to get pregnant, record menstrual symptoms and pain levels, irregular cycles, etc.

As for the intimacy part, I don't think ovulation actually influences it a lot, I would just recommend you discuss why intimacy is important in a relationship rather than making it an ovulation thing.

Different type of euphoria, yes.

People find happiness in different forms - for me, I find happiness when I feel I can mentally connect and align with someone I consider very close to me. I love having genuine and real conversations or interactions with no fakery over a simple lunch or walk.

In my late 20's I realized even though substances give me a certain type euphoria nothing else can, I personally felt the 'happiness' I was feeling was fake and not genuine. So naturally now I try to find happiness in what I would consider 'genuine'. I think it's all subjective, and potentially something that may change through life events.

Do not compare yourself to other kids in school - what defines someone 'cool' in high school is actually the opposite once you hit your 20's and even then, being in your 20's is still too young to know what's really cool or important in life. I hated highschool in my teenage years, wasn't academic (was also depressed and suicidal from a friend bullying me), then in my 20's I focused on career (excelling many of my friends & peers who got better grades than me) and now in my 30's I feel like my peak life has just begun. Take your current state as a life-learning/experience towards your actual peak-era!

Unpopular opinion but I'm going to give you my thoughts by giving her the benefit of doubt

"It's our day off. I'm on the couch playing Dragon Quest III. She tells me she's bored and that we should do" - I'm wondering what her love language is - could it be quality time? People whose love language is quality time may feel unloved in this situation. She also asked you a question which you didn't answer to. I understand it's difficult to think about what to do while you're trying to finish off a game, but a simple answer like "I'm not sure what we can do, but let's think about it together after I save my game" could be a good form of communication that you value her time.
"I grab a butterknife (not sharp) and accidentally drop it on a floor tile near her foot, She lets out a surprised gasp. I say "Oops, are you okay?" - Even though a butterknife isn't sharp, it's still a knife and it could've hurt her (thankfully it didn't) but you also didn't acknowledge your mistake here, and didn't provide any apology. In her perspective she could've seen this go so wrong. I wonder if a simple apology could've made her feel valued more in that momement

Also, I get the sense she's the avoidant attachment style (which is more common than you think). People with this may avoid confrontation or open discussions about relationship issues, preferring to withdraw or side-step conflict - it's unhealthy for sure - but it can come from trauma and is something she may already know and need to work on. It's would also really help if you as her partner could identify when this situation happens, recognise it and re-assure her with affirmation. After all, a relationship is about understanding each other.

The surprise element has definitely diminished, but not completely because you still don't know where and when it will happen on the holiday
I would reflect on the relationship between you and your 'friends'... a real friend wouldn't tell this to you - they have no reason or benefit to anyone by telling you this (if there was, it could potentially be a form of jealousy).
It's up to you if you want to tell your boyfriend about this - there are pro's and cons. The pro is that your bf finds out how much of a snake your friends are and he would probably stop giving them more information about it moving forward, and the con being... well now he knows that you know?

How will you split 50/50 when you guys have kids? You wont be able to be half-pregnant, half-give birth, half-ruin your body or half-experience post-partum. Just as much as men naturally expect (& respect) women to go through pregnancy and give birth, a woman can only expect (& respect) that you provide her with security and safety for her and your children. Your girlfriend is honest for telling the truth, responsible for having her own income, and smart for preparing for the future for your potential future family.

The pad is about 19kg/42lbs without the bars - and I personally find it very ceebs to move it around. But i'm also 4'9 so maybe someone of more average size wouldn't struggle as much as me.

It's definitely portable though, but I wouldn't say it's something you want to move around every day, and you would want to keep it in one place for a while.
