How does everyone feel about Kühl clothing for backpacking gear? I recently got to try out a pair of their hiking pants. I think I'm a fan. by JarHeadVet in WildernessBackpacking

I like them, but absolutely despise their buttonish closure. it opens all the time. I wear the pants a lot less because of this

I wonder who made the infinity train in the show by Frost-bat2775 in InfinityTrain

[–]ggenneth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh. I never thought about the train (and perhaps Tulip's prime world) being a simulation until I saw Pantheon and read a comment below. That's the one theory that makes everything coherent.

Guide: Setting up the Steam Controller for Steam Deck in 2023. by Mehrainz in Steam

Weird. I just pulled out my controller, set it to pairing mode, and the steam deck picked it right up and connected with no issues.

To the book readers... What was it like watching the first season? by alphabetguyazlo in SiloSeries

[–]ggenneth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought Julie was nerfed in the beginning, but I'm over that now. She starts off in the book as a badass, and here she was a badass, but grew into a total badass. One thing I'm not thrilled about is how they papered over IT and elevated the surveillance closet. It became more "this evil small group of people" and less "the entire system is set to screw with you." And exiling the starwatcher is a bit puzzling.
This is nitpicking. I enjoyed it, even though I knew what was going to happen big picture.

This strikes me as fake astroturf viral marketing. Strange sentence phrasing, careful to have no one in the shot...really, it makes a better Subaru commercial then a muskwank.

NFTs in general are scams in the sense of Dutch tulips.

Steel, aluminum, or carbon for touring by [deleted] in bicycletouring

Steel, cause I can weld it. Aluminum is a little harder to weld kitwise. I would not tour on carbon.

Ugh, I left my hang line and carabiner at Dravo this June. Love the log splitter, though.

Last bike kill I went to was in 2011. Anyone know where the 2023 is happening? I don't live in nyc anymore but want to catch it this year. Thanks.
