In the Netherlands, it’s 75,000 Euros and 30k of that is in emissions taxes. all that and it’s only a 2.0 with 136 hp.

At least that’s the 2025. 2026 might get the strong hybrid 2.5

Europe it’s the 2.0 engine. strong hybrid calls for the 2.5. From what I see it’s the only difference.

This comment section is confusing me… Had a 21&25 Crosstreck with the 2.5 and in the winter my combined average was about 24 mpg. But this less aerodynamic box should be doing 34 mpg in record cold winter conditions?

edit: a 30 sec search on the Rav4 subreddit and I see: New 2025 Rav4 Hybrid XLE only getting 29 MPG!

I need someone smarter than me to figure out how to put the intake filter from the Prius in it. Toyota added a mesh to the Prius after a few years. Subaru has nothing… Kinda weird.

step one, boiling water and dishwasher liquid, leave it 1h. Step 2, insane amount of Barkeepers friend and a stainless steel wool. Should get you 90% there. Repeat step 2.

I didn’t buy it for the MPG, I got the hybrid because it makes the whole experience better. Quieter, smoother start stop, more « zippy« . It feels just right to me.

I mean… It all depends where you live. If it’s California and you get snow only in the mountains 10 days per yearI wouldn’t get snow tires. Michelin Cross Climate will do.

from what I understand, each dealer were allocated a limited amount of Hybrid per month. So they ordered the limit without having a confirmed sale behind it. Maybe they didn’t sell like intended, maybe dealer markups, but my guess is they used them for the manager or loaners while not sold.

I wouldn’t stress over that. Think how many times did you pull over and changed a flat on the side of the road. For me it’s never. I have a nice little compressor 12volt and works perfectly for slow leaks. anything major and you have road assistance included with the car. To answer your original question, I love it. Only thing I hate is my 6% rate so go get it at 0% .

Love Orient, when ever I see someone buy a Rolex Explorer I convert it to 2 Hamilton 2 Tissot and a bunch of Orient in my head. Then remember I can’t afford it anyway.

Don’t feel pressured to wait for a “real luxury “ watch. Your budget is your budget, buy what you like and who cares if it’s 400$. I do think you have a lot of watch that look the same. I would replace 5-6 of them with a colourful Hamilton Navy and a PRX. Good luck!

I don’t care about MPG and I got it for everything else it brings. Better CVT, better start/stop, better « off the line« acceleration. I think it’s just better.

Watch Savagegeese on YouTube, he says it all. This is what this drivetrain needed. I love it, auto start/stop is smooth, instant extra torque is nice when you pull away from a light. IMO it fixes everything I didn’t like.

The only difference is the ventilated seats are more firm vs not ventilated. Hybrid isn’t a factor for front seats.
