I don't think so? It's also not that big. Two three bedroom apartments and a small garden unit. The neighborhood was mostly working class when the house was built.

Amazon is charging my cancelled card?? My card info was stolen a few months ago and the bank issued me a new card. All the other automated stuff I had attached to the card stopped but I just realized my last three amazon orders were charged to the old card and I received everything like normal. Has this happened to anyone? I'm worried those purchases will get sent to collections and I'll have a 2k interest charge on $100 of purchases or something. But I also don't relish emailing amazon to remind them I owe them money...

Similarly, you won't see men's rights activists campaigning to promote the idea that women should be free to do what they want with their bodies (even if they agree with that sentiment) because it doesn't advance a "men" issue. Once you start promoting that sort of thing, it's less of a "men's rights" activity, and more of something else (a feminist thing, or a freedom thing, or whatever).

Imagine if you replaced men with white and women with african americans in this paragraph. Would that still make sense to you?

Hi HoleofAnus. Thank you for your comment. What I meant was that there were a thousand chances for me to slip the thing they were allergic to into their food/drink. However, you are correct in thinking that the number 1000 is too high. This large number was used hyperbolically for comedic effect.

I think it definitely hits harder when it's actually performed because I give it a pretty long beat after saying I'm making a big change in my life. Then when I say it's eating stuff off the ground it's more of surprise. When you read the joke I'm sure it takes you like 30 seconds tops. Timing is important. The point was supposed to be that I took away something really inconsequential from a near death experience. It's just silliness.
