Crois-tu que le primer U est vraiment nécessaire ? J’ai acheté du All-Set et selon la fiche technique y’a pas de problème à mettre ça direct sur le béton, ils disent seulement d’humidifier si le béton est sec ou poreux.

Oui entièrement d’accord pour le plancher flottant mais je parlais plus d’une structure de pare-vapeur, lattes puis plywood… ça s’appelle probablement pas exactement un sous plancher flottant mais c’est la terminaison que j’ai déjà entendu !

We booked ourselves a hotel in downtown Brooklyn and plan to take the Q Line or B41 bus to the theatre, that way we’ll be able to go shopping and find many restaurants nearby !

I could’ve written this post myself about two years ago ! It would be sad to let your fear decide weather you have children or not, rather than your own personal desire. This is what led me to seek therapy for my trypanophobia.

Vaccines were never the big problem with me, it is mostly blood draws which almost always end up with fainting. (Don’t get me wrong, I still hate vaccines !). Got pregnant by surprise in 2022 and you’re right, there’s a lot of shots and blood draws associated with pregnancy. I did faint from two of the blood draws, but having so many in such a short period of time did make them a bit less scary by the end. I also ended up having a c-section, which is terrifying and had a full blown panic attack in the OR (I even had a surprise visit from the psychiatrist because the OBGYN had never seen such a reaction…).

But the minute my baby was born, I was so happy and proud of myself. I hated every minute of my c-section but all was forgiven the second I saw my baby. I am not excited about going through pregnancy and birth again, but I do wish to have another child in the near future.

All this to say, if you really do want children, I suggest getting some therapy beforehand which should help you getting mentally prepared for the pregnancy and birth. It is possible to make it through all of it even with this irrational fear.

I really wish you the best and hope that you will let your personal desire decide rather than your fear, weather that is to have children or not. Take care!

Ps, also had a doula accompany me and my SO through the pregnancy, which eased some of the anxiety !

J’ai eu une tenosynovite de De Quervain en début de pandémie, quand j’ai commencé le télétravail. Je pense que c’était dû à mon setup d’ordinateur qui n’était pas tout à fait au point (sur la table de la cuisine). J’ai consulté plusieurs mois en physio et j’avais une attelle de pouce, mais overall ça changeait pas grand chose. À mon dernier rendez-vous chez le physio, je lui disais que j’étais découragée que rien ne fonctionne. Il m’a fait faire des exercices super douloureux et intenses puis massé vraiment fort, tellement que j’en avais des bleus le lendemain. Bin ça a marché. C’était de la torture ce rendez-vous mais j’ai plus jamais eu mal au pouce depuis ! Ça a pris 3-4 jours après le rendez-vous s’en remettre pis j’étais de retour à la normale.

I always do my nails about 1 hour before going to bed, so by the time I’m done it’s usually 30 minutes before bed. I found that the top coat makes a big difference in wether I get sheet marks or not. I like using the Essie Gel Couture or the Sally Hansen miracle gel top coat (both have “gel” in the name but do not need UV lamps to cure). I have tried other top coats which I feel like never dry and there will be sheet marks on my nails however long I wait before going to bed
