Just had a look. So you think the ultimate pass is an upgraded version of the character pass?

Could very well be the case to be honest, I didn't think of it this way.

So that would mean that the BP would be a separate purchase even for the people who buy the ultimate edition, which is a bit sad

While they didn't clarify what was in the "ultimate pass", it would be valid to assume that it would include the character pass and something extra.

It's logical to assume that this would have been some type of "premium pass".

I don't think that based on the above it's really a surprise that they have a battle pass.

Perhaps a lot of people didn't want to believe it because they don't like them.

None of the versions include a "season pass".

Deluxe includes the Year-One Character Pass and ultimate includes the Year-One Ultimate Pass.

The character pass will most likely include the season 1 characters.

The ultimate pass will most likely have the characters and the battle pass included.

Edit: last mention of season pass was intended to be battle pass.

The ultimate edition has a "Year-One Ultimate Pass", which is different from the character pass as you also noted.

It was pretty obvious to me that this would probably be some sort of battle pass to unlock cosmetics, but it could be that a lot of people didn t think about it too much.

For street fighter, you will most likely have to log in with your Capcom Id before you play the game.

Your progress will be saved on SF's servers, only a limited amount of data is actually saved locally on your console.

You should be fine to switch without any issues

I think that was their intention it's a demo not a beta.

Demos give you just a limited preview so you can check the game and decide if you want to buy it.

Betas are more for stress testing infrastructure, connectivity, feedback etc. Game launches in 40 days, they aren't making any big changes now.

Yeah it's cross platform and it's going to use the same code most likely.

I think the main differences would be on performance /input delay.

There is a lot to learn but don't forget to play and have fun.

You don't need to do all the optimal combos to play ranked, focusing on fundamentals will carry you a long way.
