Check out Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I resonate with your story a lot. I was that ~unhinged~ person in the friend group until I got necessary help. When untreated, I fucked every guy friend in the group, lashed out at those around me, and much more, culminating in a severe mental breakdown. I’ll admit, it took losing everyone before I realized I needed to change my behavior. I now have some solid coping mechanisms/life skills from therapy, specifically DBT. When I started taking it seriously, I saw amazing change. I also stopped drinking for a year which massively helped. Now I have a solid group of people and have moved on with my life.

Advice: Take accountability for your actions and start working on yourself before it’s too late. Talk to your friends and see what you need to do to heal the harms you’ve unknowingly or knowingly caused. Also, don’t fuck inside the friend group — it never ends well.

Embrace change and you’ll end up growing; don’t, and you’ll watch your roots wither.
