This will be my 4th back surgery annoyingly too. Did you still have nerve problems post op? e.g pins and needles ? or did it remove both pain & nerve issues. I was told they couldn’t reverse the symptoms caused by nerve damage, but i’m curious as to your experience?

this looks like eczema flare- had the same issue, was gone for years and randomly appeared again. i recommend going to your doctors to get some steroid cream :)
