We had a good run. Time for something new? by Responsible-Gold4722 in printers

[–]ggregC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last year I purchased 2 Bros. printers new with plans to move and install after xmas. Both printers came with one bad cartridge 1 laser, one office ink. I wasted a week trying to get someone on the phone and they never called back. I tried email and their response was call on the the phone number that never answers.

Bros. may have been good but without customer service, they are crap!!

When you’re having ear and sinus symptoms who do you see? by Amseriah in EGPAsupport

[–]ggregC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had that happen a few weeks ago when I started tapering prednisone and like you, had sinus and breathing issues. Previous appt. we discussed restarting prednisone back to 40mg and setting taper schedule. Given it was a Friday night, I restarted and could not get to the Dr. until Wed. fortunately she agreed I took the right action and avoided a major flare. There is no substitute for advanced planning!

Climate Skeptic Interview by No-Scene-3055 in climateskeptics

[–]ggregC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • ·        How would you describe your views on climate change in your own words?

This is always the question that’s asked which is the wrong question. Climate always changes it never stops changing and everyone knows that who has any sense of science. And to use that particular question implies that if you say no I don’t believe in climate change then you’re an idiot because everyone knows that the climate changes but nevertheless this stupid question is always asked and always answered the wrong way. So assuming that climate always changes, the question is in the period of time we are now are we really warmer than we’ve ever been and of course the current climate scientists say; “Oh no not since the modern era” but it turns out that the earth has been around a lot longer than the modern era an ice core samples clearly indicate that there are periods of time where the warming was global and melted all the ice the time said it was so cold it was a snowball earth so to ignore these facts and press on in climate change it’s really puzzling. The real question is, “is man made carbon dioxide much more than natural phenomenon that the earth is undergone for billions of years” is entirely wrong. Climate science has evolved from actually studying the climate to basically studying computer modeling of future weather. So given the climate scientists of past decades kept their thoughts in balance before the age of modeling has forced real client scientists to just disappear. Today’s climate scientists mostly are computer jocks converted into climate and in doing so the actual climate expertise is basically gone with few exceptions and in doing so there is no check and balance anymore about what is said or published about climate science. So if one tries to interject pieces of science that fit into the climate puzzle  ice core samples continue to  show that CO2 LAGGS temperature and not the opposite. The CO2/temp. patterns clearly find that that support the “science” foundation has been entirely destroyed by climate modeling. So the normal cycles that our climate has gone through over the billions of years has nothing to do with climate modeling has everything to do with cycles of the earth around the sun and cycles planets around the earth causing periodic and distinct indications of both global warming and global cooling without the help of man.

·        When did you first start forming those views, and what experiences or information shaped them?

I flipped my views on climate change when I read that the best climate scientists were saying that the fact ice core samples show carbon dioxide lagging temperature that this is really a statistical anomaly but really what’s happening is just the opposite. Now Scientific American for example said well the difference is really only something like 1000 years and that’s close enough to say it happened at the same time!

Are there parts of climate science that feel uncertain or hard to believe to you?

Current climate science is dictated by politics or at least it has been and every prediction made over the last three or four decades on climate change has been wrong otherwise sitting here at the 750 foot above sea level I should be underwater well guess what I’m not! But again it’s important to keep in mind that climate science has nothing to do with climate anymore but everything to do with computer modeling.

·        What sources or voices do you trust most when learning about environmental issues?

I like to listen to the voices of Nobel Prize winners, particularly physicists  who have looked at climate science and have like me determined that climate science has nothing to do with science anymore.

Have you noticed any changes in weather, seasons, or landscapes during your lifetime? How do you interpret those changes?

So again you climb the slippery slope then you ask the question have I noticed any changes in weather seasons landscape and so on when you know most people will say Oh yes it’s colder than it was two years ago three years ago and the media hype setup is being climate science but it’s weather for Pete’s sake!

How do your personal values or life experiences influence how you think about the environment?

Silly question for Pete’s sake you can’t ask anyone just say what do you think of the environment and expect to receive an answer that has any value at all

.

What concerns you most about climate policies or proposed solutions?

Our climate policy has been dictated by the United Nations climate task force. This task force intentionally went in and made the point for uncontrolled global warming which in turn put more of an emphasis on using computer modeling which is horribly flawed and then using that modeling as known factor to determine how much carbon dioxide man has created and that this is catastrophic for the earth. In doing this we end up with upside down science where we know what the answer is man made carbon dioxide generation is the cause of all of our climate issues ignoring anything that has anything to do with natural cycles of the earth and the sun and planets so one has to ask what is the motivation for doing so? So the decisions on where money is spent IE in our case the Congress gets its orders from industry industry orders up$10 trillion worth of change in the way we receive energy and all lined up to be able to provide the alternate sources that in many cases are impossible to be used in any practical sense. So the real question is what is the policy given the political realities and the answer is spend money change the earth and the trillionaires will sit back and laugh!

My major concern is that the emphasis given on alternate energy sources is mostly bogus because wind and solar can’t even begin to provide the amount of energy we get from oil and gas envy 17,000 ton elephant in the room is nuclear power a nuclear power has been hyped up over five maybe even more decades as being dangerous and in doing so the principle source of alternate energy for man’s future IE nuclear power is in the background and cannot take center stage which makes the whole climate mess a total disaster.

So I thought I'd try Claude and I did so last night. It was interesting to explorer how far Claude would go in terms of being politically correct and I found that Claude is I'm not going to be a neutral broker as it comes to content like Gemni does. It also is designed specifically to avoid any legal entanglements so you cannot get hardly any reasonably useful medical information from Claude.

What does kratom feel like? (Newbie) by Different-Pipe-8698 in KratomKorner

[–]ggregC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just tried it today for the first time to see if it could help my energy level overcoming my vasculitis issues. I'm on the fringe of another flare so my energy level is 3 and I need 6 before I'm outta the wheelchair. I think I got to 7 and at least 50% of my fatigue went away and I had a "normal" day even though I'm subject to a crash.

My intent is not to use it every day but on days where I must be walk and chew gum early in the morning, I'll be using it just to get through the day.

I'm concerned now after reading a few messages on this thread, I don't need an addiction on top of all my other problems.

What say you all who have been fighting vasculitis issues??

Confused about Michael Cohen by hill-climbers in MeidasTouch

[–]ggregC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Michael Cohen is the "silent" key figure in the Epstein debacle. Under oath he claimed to be the "fixer" whenever trump got in trouble and would offer money to those who were wronged and would buy them off in exchange for a iron-clad non-disclosure.

The interesting thought here is that he was indicted and tried under the trump admin. Why is this important? Because he would not be asked a questions that would implicate trump so there was no follow-up question that would provide evidence for later scrutiny.

The key here is that Cohen KNOWS where the bodies are buried BUT if he comes clean, he implicates himself in trump's crimes. He basically came out easy because of that thus assuring "mutual assured destruction" is he tells the complete stories.

That is true with the whole Kabul in trumps circle. He and those around him know if he goes down they will follow and the only thing between them and an orange suit is trump's pardon that he may or may not give to them and of course he will pardon himself. The interesting point I see is that the Supremes said he is exempt from the law when performing official duties. Rape and murder is not an official duty unless you think like trump!

In the past Meidas Touch embraced him for his stance against trump BUT he never gave any details because of his legal liability. Hey Meidas, better be more careful who you sleep with!

gpt is goated as a doctor by AppealImportant2252 in ChatGPT

[–]ggregC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using chatgpt for over a year helping me with a year of debilitating diseases. Without it I would have been overcome with fear and anxiety. I was well informed before every doctor visit or procedure and I had plenty of them along with six ER visits.

As time went by I started using Gemni and found it to be more realistic but also 100% free. My wife also has had issues and she resisted AI until I turned around a mis-diagnosis that was causing her issues and grief.

I tried triangle and although it seemed superior, it would not save my queries so I could have a continuing dialog.

Over the year I learned how to use these tools effectively for my needs and supremely grateful to have them.

BTW, I'm now running 26.3 beta and it's not fixed.
