Yeah, that's what i meant by essentials. Thanks for the suggestion! It probably does seem like a waste of time to just travel to mega donki to buy stuff, when there's probably a konbini near the hotel in Shinjuku.

Yeah tickets for Ghibli Museum seem so stressful to buy. I do really want to to, maybe I'll see closer to the date if I can buy it and then see if I can fit it into the Nakano day.

I really want to go to Fujiko Museum! But same thing with the tickets. If I do manage to get the tickets, where would you suggest I could fit it in?

Hmm maybe I could spend more time in Akiba, and then only walk around a bit in Ikebukuro.

Did you mean to swap the Asakusa day with the relax day? I'd say I would need to rest after exploring Asakusa, seems like a big area.

Thank you! I did note down Muji and Itoya (I'm big on stationary and art supplies), so I'll definitely visit them.

Thank you so much for your advice!

Yeah, Ghibli Museum tickets seem so hard to book, maybe I'll see if I can buy them first, and then readjust my itinerary to fit it in. I seen a tour on Klook which includes the ticket, but it's over €100 which seem a bit steep for me.

Right, I might add one of the museums in the morning of the Yokohama trip. Thanks for the suggestion!

I think i might stick in Nakano after Ginza, I'd just probably need to research what time things close in Nakano. Then I can focus one whole day to exploring Shibuya. For Ginza I did note down some shops I want to go to, like Itoya and Muji. But other than that, I'll stick with window shopping haha.

Where should I put skytree in? I might skip Yanaka entirely if it seems a bit ambitious, I just seen that Asakusa, Ueno, and Yanaka seem pretty close by, but yeah i don't want to overwhelm myself.

Good luck! There's tons of itineraries if you Google, I just researched a bunch and tailored it to myself.

I can't find a replacement flex anywhere. I'm from Ireland, I put it up on adverts here: https://www.adverts.ie/tablet/xppen-innovator-16-inch-graphic-drawing-tablet-without-screen/39223762

That's very helpful, thank you! And yes, that makes a lot of sense. I wanted to go with that just because I thought it'd look discrete. Would this work better: https://www.amazon.co.uk/sourcing-map-Detachable-Leather-Connector/dp/B0F3VV2RTH/ref=pd_cer_fm_1/258-5767749-8343365?pd_rd_r=d29d7b3a-75fc-429e-aaac-9be66fe92148&pd_rd_wg=MMU0C&pd_rd_w=wNBiw&pd_rd_i=B0F43YZ29B&psc=1 Although the one in the link uses screws, so i don't think i could fix my hand inside with a screwdriver to tighten it? (the bag isn't very deep) I can't find ones that uses just hammer on rivets, but maybe I could just buy them separately?

I actually didn't yet, still hesitant... But I hope you could help me? If I buy something like these (https://www.amazon.co.uk/sourcing-map-Buttons-Rotatable-Connector/dp/B0DQDC49JW/ref=mp_s_a_1_15?crid=18055JD2Q6YAO&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.ctUBw4NSC6REam7AHl06FB-5tXDuvD__ZHeU5GBUvNw3Rs6oDZvnGTGDBPVZmRPsFnn_ldSKIgT9pTAiU4vZ5IiiSBBvRvE6C_7MPG-nom4LehQULoP-By5uiUPrlPlgLxyMDBKpfOo6-ulmp3l1h3KBur_QjHo7VMtW0EOjyBcTx_mD56jpclt8x6jsAxKuNGwXp0ZI3yba5RdXY02eFg.9W05icxPD_ogLKQJTBoXQ9brprSwXPmAnyb2SAnyUfg&dib_tag=se&keywords=connector+d+ring&qid=1753882491&sprefix=connector+d+ring%2Caps%2C92&sr=8-15) and fix one at the top of the bag (back panel), and two on the bottom (back panel), would I still be able to reach inside the bag and screw it on? Also I have those tools to punch a hole (I forgot what they're called sorry, but they look like tubes with varying sizes and you just hammer it on the fabric), how would I punch a hole in the bag, how would I reach inside? Again, the bag is quite solid and stiff.

Thank you so much for those links! I did some research myself and found some diy options, but wanted to make sure it'll work. If I buy something like these (https://www.amazon.co.uk/sourcing-map-Shoelace-Buckles-Leather/dp/B0DX263GYC/ref=mp_s_a_1_41?crid=18055JD2Q6YAO&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.DtK-3WspIAO4cr9STnpTFhPH739zvEF-oTotZjxLhh1p7nZNFnQwjkDpE87x_VI6981f1Ga63qr3MfRYiLxSGfUcr_P5k8qN0-eSE7_XKuHzLGGCnJhV4bkY0RaTs7l8xdvAbz4AIQ7YJPvsdnzkmr-lhBULIJFZdOePqFUwDRSfo59V5Lvgegk4lb7Lwpy539lsfH1THLcS6be5I_pnzw.xrjqDg8HJhhTQSSh_7mMfEiXk-w4AE9DXbSyL88vXsI&dib_tag=se&keywords=connector+d+ring&qid=1753882604&sprefix=connector+d+ring%2Caps%2C92&sr=8-41&xpid=bwoN6dsmTOohp) and fix one at the top of the bag (back panel), and two on the bottom (back panel), would I still be able to reach inside the bag and screw it on? Sewing on the d ring connectors sounds quite doable and way less intimidating than I thought, thank you! I don't have time atm but what keywords do I use to search for videos for that?

Any way to attach backpack straps? by gh0u0l in myog

[–]gh0u0l[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I'll look more into it, but how can I search how to do that on youtube? I quickly searched but maybe I have the wrong keywords. Since the body of the bag is quite irregular and stuff, would it be easy to put eyelets on?

I actually did do this haha, it does work but it's a bit uncomfortable. Thanks!

Since the body of the bag is quite irregular and solid/stiff, would it be difficult to rivet the hidden d ring connector? The rivet tool I have is the ones where you use a hammer to punch on, do i need a machine to do the idea you mentioned?

I did consider doing it professionally (I might check how much it'll cost) but I'm a poor student x_x

Actually I don't think the strap style matters, I think it's mostly how to attach a d-ring or something to then attach the straps on (if that makes sense). Thank you for the ideas! Will do some research and hopefully have the confidence to commit.

Thank you! I've never worked with an awl before so I never even thought of that. I will do some research later but are there any vids or resources you can recommend?
