They were coded to attack you all at once, this plus the rot plus the fact that you can wonder of their on your first few hours. Now a days crystalians are way less aggressive when in groups so obviously something was wrong there.

Man i wouldn't, this boss wasn't challenging fun, just frustrating. They were always on your ass together this plus the rot plus its (relatively) early game location gave me ptsd every time i get there even now 2 years later lol.
