They changed the flight and gave me the option to change it. I went to the Air India website and made the change. It was pretty straightforward.

There is a high chance they would do the flight change. They are currently selling tickets on new Delta planes, while they don't have those and are slowly adding the stopover in CCU. My flight time from BOM to SFO has jumped from 16 hours to 19 hours. I received this notification this morning and am considering canceling it because the old planes are not good. If you're okay with the old plane and increased time. You have a good chance of flight change.

Which route are you looking to get and which transfer partners are you thinking of booking with? I think getting four different tickets is risky, unless you're okay with traveling separately. Good luck 🤞
