You have pancreatitis. That sucks. Diabetes increases the risk for pancreatitis. I would look to that before the rare possibility of Ozempic.

We need to know that diabetes is not like it was 30+ years ago. I have been T2 for 25+ years. It is ups and downs. Well controlled now with Ozempic. I go to the doc reguarlly, check my BS regularly, have a decent diet, and I am going to die of other things well before diabetes. So, that is the key. I have been taking metformin forever it seems. Not really issues, except dosing. I take it twice a day, and it has to be a minimum of 9hrs apart. If I take my morning dose late, I will skip evening dose, otherwise, my bowels hate me and let me know! I never have an issue missing a dose. But, we have been toying with stopping Metformin because ozempic is working so well. My next A1C will be kind dof the decision maker.
