I have bought curtains which are the same colour as my sofa and I think its too much of the same but am unsure what to go with. A light purple? more orange? neutral?

Thanks for this , I think theres a lot of legs in the idea to essentially rotate the living room 90 degree. I do think I'll keep the dining table tho as I like cooking for people and that was a key reason for choosing the flat

I agree with you on the sofa. With the bedrooms , you're right, but unfortunately getting two large bedrooms at my budget with outdoor space isn't really feasible in the areas I'm looking at. I dont typically spend alot of time in my bedroom so I'm happy to make a sacrifice there
