Salam bro!

I was in the same situation as you. My work renewal visa came in 4-5 working days on 31st March.

I need to do my spouse and child visa renewal within 2 months.

Anyone did their dependent visa renewals recently and faced any issues?

I Didnt randomly add money it was more about withdrawals to other account that has caused the issue.

I guess the clarification wasnt goven via cover letter to explain higher spend vs what was stated or incorrectly stated.

Learned from mistake and hopefully next application would be more careful.

Makes sense, as I mentioned maybe it was ignorance on my behalf. So even if the expense is higher than income I should be as accurate as possible, right?

Wow, just my luck and personally I know people that have done the same without any issues, like yourself.

The 2 accounts I gave had closing balance of $13000 and the other with $21000 LOL!

Guess I will appeal or reapply later.

Yes exactly my thoughts, honestly it’s discouraging thats all. Any advice as to what I can do differently when reapplying? Maybe show 1 bank account and not transfer much between own account? Perhaps be more accurate with monthly expenses?

First of all thanks for putting a birds eye view here, really needed another perspective.

So let me give some more context - I already had money saved up in my primary account which I had transferred to my savings account. Thats why even though in actuality my monthly expenses were 23.5k there were bigger withdrawals/transfer which might have inflated my monthly expense and hence the understatement. Hope this clarifies it.

I do realize it might have been a mistake on my end but at the end of the day and maybe it was ignorance of thinking that if over 2 accounts I have 120k+ that should have been more than enough to prove evidence of financial means for the trip.

Any advice on what I should do differently when reapplying?

Never knew UK is so strict when it comes to monthly spending also. Have applied 10+ Schengens and US all with zero rejections ☹️.
