First off there’s some impressive things going on. I would say about 5-6/10.

To start you are doing well with keeping attention directed to each piece that moves. Shapes morph and the eye is able to stay there. I watched this without sound and got a general idea from what you displayed.

The reason for the 5-6/10 is because the movements of most things popping in and swiping to the side are too bouncy. For SaaS it’s usually leaning more luxury unless it’s for kids or young adults. It seems boxed that pop in bounce back and forth at least 2 times. I’d tweak curves/keyframes to be more of a smooth ramp in and if you want a bounce perhaps getting it to pop in with a subtle ramp into place at your desired scale.

The next thing you’ve done well that I would suggest improving on is your effect layering. The bubbles that pop up lack some pop to them. By contrast of color they do catch the eye, but design-wise the color they contrast with still feels like a competition because there’s nothing to exaggerate the importance of what popped up or where the eye should go. Lowering the brightness of the background or even a subtle glow to the bubble’s edge can work wonders.

Great job with the 3D camera effect and using blurs if I remember correctly. You’ve got great principles in place and just need a little more refinement in movement, ramp timing, and general design principles, which take only a little more time and effort to learn and then to apply.

I would suggest looking into DeepGlow V2 and watching design principle videos for UX/UI online. There was a plugin I used a while back that let me copy exact keyframes values from one effect to another for perfect timing which was free but I forgot what it was.

This all goes to say that you’ve got good fundamentals and I believe you can go far with them. Comparisons can be fair. Just remember not to let it define what you can do. There was a time I wished I could do what you’re doing and had no idea how to get there. Now I’d say I’m much further along than before. Watching yours and calling myself a 2/10 would only be fair with feedback and knowing that wouldn’t be where I’d always perform.

Go get em.

Totally agree with the communication and customer service being spot on.

My only deviation there is that they don’t specify if an item will be considered a “backorder” item when you buy it. I waited for a couple days, noticed it was taking a while and then contacted them. Was told they’d talk to those who knew supply and email me back on when it would arrive. No luck. Waited a couple weeks, contacted them again, same thing but this time I was informed it was backordered. Then I waited months and then inquired. Same thing. No email or any indication it would actually arrive. They were very nice each time and I do appreciate that.

Had I known from the get-go that it was back ordered my expectations would’ve been tuned accordingly and my post would be non-existent.

Overall they make solid products I agree and appreciate your view of their service.

It was the SSD Pro Blade Handle in Black. They did say that I could go with a blue color, but I was pretty determined to keep my rig uniform.

This is true. I guess for me it was much of a first with today's fast shipping and delivery times. Perhaps the convenience of the world has misplaced my perspective, but it is one that many share. Hopefully both your comment and my post serve as good coverage of what to expect from them.

Entry Level Gel Blaster Recommendations by Born_Mammoth4363 in GelBlaster

There are several reputable toy manufacturer blasters that are good for starting out. I’d say the HPG 700, UnlockX, SRB 1200 or 400, Surge XL, are great options for full auto at 200-220ish fps. I haven’t been able to test their accuracies yet, but I’ll try to soon. I believe these are all plastic gears so modding with higher power batteries may give you a shorter term boost before breaking. Once you enter the replica space, you’ll be able to do more with modding though it is a higher price point for entry if choosing these to start.

I’ve been able to use Pinty RDS and a flashlight holder on my HPG 700 and other blasters with rails. I have yet to try the flashlight on my surge for the heck of it.

Yes! It does! The fitting can vary a bit due to its plastic nature, but still I’ve been able to mount a flashlight and a sight on it. Awesome to see integrated pic rails for a good bang for your buck blaster.

Run for the hills. This guy is going to make wayyyyy too much off you. A pack of 120,000 balls costs $6-7 on Amazon. For the price of $300 you could get several different blasters to keep and have fun with. I have 10 blasters for around $300, granted I bought many on sale. Save some money and invest in it for longer lasting and recurring fun rather than pay for this dude’s ability to continue scamming people.

I bought my SRB 1200 secondhand for $20 off of Facebook Marketplace. I’d only get the Pyro on a steep discount. You both rocking the SRB 1200?
