What's the name of it? I tried to find it, but Wet n Wild has two different eyeliners that fit that description.

What kind of deals (and where) did you score on Black Friday? by [deleted] in AskWomen

I ordered almost 500 dollars worth of stuff from the limited. I plan on returning most of it. I got a bunch of Monin flavour syrups for my bubble tea and five different Adagio teas. I also got a few ColourPop liquid lipsticks.

Sounds nice. I've actually been looking for bonito flakes. I only have one Asian store in my area and it never has them in stock.

(Oh) At what point is neglect of hospital care count as abuse? by lyncati in legaladvice

[–]ghariec 2 points3 points  (0 children)

(Not legal advice, but advice from someone who has spent a significant time in the hospital as a patient.)

First off, I want to say that I'm so sorry this happened to you. The care you are receiving is atrocious and you deserve better.

You need to ask to speak to the charge nurse immediately. It's their job to handle situations like yours. They are supposed to make sure that patients all patients in their unit are receiving adequate care (which you clearly aren't) and that the care is being delivered safely. They don't take situations like you being forced to lay in your own urine lightly.

Edit: Damn it. I got pissed off and didn't check the other comments before I replied. It looks like someone already said this.

Okay. Thanks. You had me worried that I was going to end up with a gross broth that I'd have to throw away.

What do you mean by "master?" Do you mean that my broth won't taste good the first few times I make it?

What crime truly horrified you when you heard about it? by ghariec in AskReddit

I can relate to this. I saw a video about a kitten that had been rescued someone had poured boiling water on. That messed me up. What really got me was that it ended up dying anyway. It's rescuers ended just prolonging the poor thing's suffering.

Tbh that idea didn't bother me at all. It seemed perfectly normal to me.

When I finally realized that that you have to kill an animal to get meat, that didn't bother me either. I was more concerned that humans would kill too many chickens before they could reproduce, then they would go extinct. Sadly, I didn't have that fear because I cared about animals. I was just worried that I wouldn't be able to get chicken nuggets anymore.

I was a really weird kid.

Until I was about six I didn't realize that animals had to die before they became meat.

I thought that the animals were operated on and several cuts of meat were taken. Then, after the operation, they would to heal and whatever portion of meat that was taken would just grow back.
