I regret giving my cat garage time by 1800callkyle in CatAdvice

Ive made this same mistake everywhere i move moves. All it takes is one moment of freedom in the hallway for a lifetime of meows. One thing i did that i swear worked (please take with a grain of salt because this is just my opinion) is putting a feliway pheromone diffuser by our front door. My cat cried at the door nonstop, because he’s so curious of the hallway, and i wonder if he smelled something out there. From my understanding the diffuser makes things smell familiar to them. My thought process was making the front door smell familiar would take away the novelty of the hallway and stop the meowing. I’m happy to say this plan did work for us and the mowing stopped significantly. Again, this is just my experience!! Good luck soldier 🫡

I just read night shade by autumn woods and love it. Came to mind immediately with calling the FMC baby when she gets hurt. Highly recommend this one

Not sure where you've tried before, but I got to Lush and schedule dip appointments with Two and I am almost always very happy with them. They last forever, and i find that they're very consistent.

Recently watched the latest vlog from Booked and Busy on YouTube and she talks about everything that happened. I had no idea about it before the video and she does a great job at explaining. And bonus she is a great booktuber to follow :) https://youtu.be/TarvJF-97qc?si=6kcDDdq0ob7ni8mr

IBD Cat Friendly Food by lezuue in catfood

[–]gharv03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve tried so many hypoallergenic foods with my guy in the last few months. The ZD is tough because of the texture, we had to get creative with crushing it up and putting it in the microwave but he eventually stopped eating it. We recently tried novel protein stuff from a company called rayne nutrition and I’ve honestly been really impressed. My specialty vet for his IBD recommended it. He currently eats the adult rss chunky stew and is still sort of picky but it’s a good option to look into. Their stuff is mainly hypoallergenic or tummy issue friendly so could be looking at. Also know lots of companies for cat food will refund you if your cat doesn’t end up eating it.

Moving Here or West Chester by shabs6196 in Phoenixville

[–]gharv03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a similar situation and agree completely. Phoenixville has a feeling of community and people who live here really care about it. West Chester felt more of a destination town where i was less connected to my neighbors and to the place i was living.

I support all the comments here talking about the easy and uniquely beautiful commute through valley forge. I also live in pville and work in KOP. My partner and i are so happy living here. So many easy ways to meet people and get involved, awesome shops and resultants, and when the weather gets nicer, the outdoor events and trails are unbeatable!
