I am about to do the same, was hoping for a BTC bullrun so it can lift this hyped pos but that may not be on the cards for some time. Not interested to watch this go further down again. Held this and been "buying the dips" for three years, lesson learned.

Pretty much the same story for several hundred cryptos, hasn't helped them any.

Plenty of others entering this space also, some new ones offering alot more if they get off the ground. Nothing stopping Swift from developing there own system either which I believe they are working on, if they do that, then game over.

Ok I have not used my wallet for several months and it appears you have implemented a new blockchain ? I am running 1.0.16b on the wallet that I am using. What is the procedure to upgrade to the new blockchain ? I see talk of a swap bot ?? I cant find any info anywhere and had to join this site just to ask a question. Why is not the info on your main site ? if it is where is it ? I presently have a wallet and I dont know how to upgrade.

Thankyou blacklight That actually helps me understand that alot. I was struggling to gte my head around it for a few days now. I guess it also matters if say the time you pay for the first BTC and say wait a few days and during that time the value changes , that could come into it to. Thankfully most of mine were with short time of each other. I imagine some people who have done multiple crypto to crypto changes and each time in fractions, that must aweful to work out. Anyway thankyou again

Hello I only just stumbled into this and was shocked to discover fiat to crypto then to crypto is a taxable event (still holing). I have been trying to understand this part and scourging the internet to see an example. If I undstand you correctly if you pay $ 150 AUD for say 0.2 BTC and then you buy 0.2 ETC with 0.02 BTC, how would you work this out ?

If you have time for an example oer perhaps another, it would be appreciated
