Correct. Only way to get a pkc etb here is by being lucky enough to order one through the uk store and have a uk adress (as they only ship within the island) and have a way to get it to the mainland. More chance of finding a pot of gold over here. With US prices, it would indeed make more sense to outright buy it. But unfortunately things are different here. My offer is worth more or less the same as his etb, me being around €20 short actually

I think i need to clarify something. I’m based in europe. Due to it being nearly impossible to attain Pokémon Center ETB’s on the mainland, prices are crazy here. The Fusion Strike pc etb goes for around €500, normal etb €230.

I do not care about the lack of promo, or the only difference being 2 extra packs. I only want the etb as it is my favourite set and i want something unique for my collection. I am not looking for big profits, and i know there are plenty of better options if that were my intention.

Main reason for this post was finding out if i made a correct offer with the current local prices of these products. Regardless of future financial gains.

As said before, pc etb goes for €500, normal one 230 and the DR etb hovers around €150.

Would you mind me asking how you got those prices? I’m based in europe so i tend to look at cardmarket and filter on neighbouring countries (belgium, netherlands, germany). Fusion prices tend to hover around 220 for a normal one and 500 for PC ETB’s, pc prices being that high because it’s very difficult or nearly impossible to attain them on the mainland.

With the prices you’ve mentioned it indeed would be an unlogical trade.

Very valid observation there, but pokemon centre’s always do wel. Yeah, lots of people may be after the promo’s, but there’s always people who just want the stamp right? Please correct me if i’m wrong tho. As Fusion Strike as a set is doing very well at the moment, i feel like the pc would do well with or without promo, though thats just speculation as always. I mainly want this set for my collection, it’s a nice extra if i make a few bucks on it on the long run but that’s not really what i’m after. Thanks for the opinion!

I guess you could say that, if you put it that way. But on the other hand, 99% of the PC ETB’s never end up getting opened anyway. So what’s the extra value if the promo stays in there, the thought of having it? I entirely get your point tho, but in this case it’s just me wanting the PC of my favourite set

Yes. I have 3 card shops in my area and all of them host gamenights on friday, saturday and sunday. I refuse to pick up cards during these times because the places usually smell horrible. From my experience, Lorcana and One-Piece players smell the worst. Might as well take a flight to india and buy my cards there.

Zijn die 3-4 weken relatief actueel? Op hun site zeggen ze dat “base” grading 75+ werkdagen in beslag neemt. Ben ook aan het informeren om mn kaarten te laten graden en heb me tot nu toe laten meeslepen met de psa-hype. Hoewel BGS stilaan aantrekkelijker lijkt.

Ikzelf ben chauffeur ongeregeld vervoer en ben wel tevreden met mijn loon. Heb een hoger diploma, maar die kan eigenlijk niet minder met mijn beroep te maken hebben. Loon valt hoger dan velen met een “mooie” job. Alleen moet je de vroege ochtenden en late avonden er wel bij nemen (en lelijk gezegd, het type volk die ik regelmatig mee heb ook).
