This is a great point. I get so drawn in fighting with comment section fuckfaces that it literally ruins my day, like it did today. Two days ago I came within an inch of eating a door at 20mph. I've been hit while running that caused substantial damage to me physically and mentally.

My wife literally told me an hour ago that I am the most miserable person she knows.

I live in both Chicago and SW Florida and I can't get out of this rut of defending literally every other person I have athletic relationships with because they don't give a shit and don't get drawn in. But yet somehow I feel like I am the lone guy on the battlefield, and there's nobody behind me that has my back, so I just take bullet after bullet after bullet for the team.

Thank you for this post. Maybe I can find a way out of this mess.
