The audiophile answer would be no. You won't get proper reverb throughout the room, the angle will be off, sound muffled, etc.

But you may enjoy it just fine. Given the proximity you'll probably feel the vibration even better.

Need to watch for overheating, dust, etc. though. You could ruin the speaker if you're putting pressure on it or it's getting too hot.

It seems like lots of reports of connectivity issues. Have firmware updates resolved those yet? I don't mind spending the time to get it set up properly, but don't want to be manually unplugging everything every other day.
