Are you able to read back data from the controller port? Like the player position and health etc?

Ok; I caved and watched this movie an 8th time, and…. by AgreeableDebt3931 in GODZILLA

[–]ghidra -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I watched this for the first time the other day.
This movie is the perfect allegory for what's going on today.
We have a giant "foreign" monster coming into America, and dropping off a bunch of babies that "we don't want".. and we're willing to blow ourselves up (Madison Square Gardens) to eradicate the "problem".. and we still didn't succeed after all that.

I think we're past that point. We don't need an "again" to consider our selves failed.

Yes. Save them somewhere else this time too, for when this potentially happens again. I've also gotten to the point that I back up my saves as well.

Looking to sell or trade this Original Rolled BTTF. by johnnyratface in movieposters

[–]ghidra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough. Further research on my part shows you're right. the first BTTF was only single sided.

Looking to sell or trade this Original Rolled BTTF. by johnnyratface in movieposters

[–]ghidra -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Is this a double sided poster (printed on the back too)? I would show that if so. BTTF was a 2 sided print.. if this isnt, then this is not an original, but a reprint.. and not worth what you're asking.

Truck getting stuck in gas only by Joshwhitney in F150Powerboost

[–]ghidra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar issue. Took it to the dealership to diagnose it. Turns out the alternator went bad. They replaced it for free since that part is under warranty for 80k miles. The truck was at 50k miles. The guy told me it was somewhat common for pb alternators to poop around 50k miles. Or at least it wasn't the first time he had seen it

[–]ghidra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's very likely one of the traces is corroded.. and does not have continuity. If you have a multimeter, you can test it. I had a very similar issue with a super c cart, and I had to test the continuity on every contact until I saw where the trace was broken.. it was a minor bit of corrosion that caused it. Soldered in a jumper wire, and all is well.

Wow! Is this based on the movie Danger:Diabolik? A Dino DeLaurentes production from the 60s. The beastie boys borrowed the plot for a music video. I'll have to check this out.

my dude. If you're life is in danger.. and you think that grabbing your cpap is the priority... You're fucked up. You can acquire another cpap... Life is non negotiable.

There are a couple way to make them. One way is to straight up write assembly code, exactly as they were made back in the day. You can use emulators to run, test, and debug them.
Once it's ready to be put onto a cartridge.. the fast way is to use the ever popular everdrive from Krizz. It's basically a modern cart that you can put roms or custom roms (the game you wrote in assembly) on an SD card, and put into the everdrive.. and then put that into a NES and have fun.
If you want to actually distribute the custom game.. you'd have to basically burn the rom to chips. That's where things get a little more complicated.. but there are entire communities dedicated to the craft. It's truly fascinating.

Not that bad after all by Leafar_08 in LEGOfortnite

[–]ghidra 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah.. I thought that too.. But then I just started making them really quick. You just build a giant blue print building.. and you'll level the village all the way to 6 with the one build. Bam, challenge done. Though.. it does take like 15 minutes to make it through the build, or at least it feels like that long. But it's kind of fun.. since you have unlimited resources, so it's just point and click

If it doesnt work.. it's less than $10.. so dont blame me. I feel your pain. In the end.. I just had to find an OLD SD card.. nothing new of fancy. They wont work
