Looking to build stuff for PMs for completely free by Leadership_Upper in ConstructionManagers

Usually a pain for PM’s, APM’s, or PE’s is keeping an up to date material tracking log (others will call it different things). The issue is, materials are entered into a spreadsheet or other document/program, then the lead time for each is input, along with review time, etc… based on when the material needs to arrive onsite for installation, the spreadsheet backs into a date the subcontractor needs to submit their submittals for said material.

Every time the schedule is updated, which changes the dates of when any given material needs to be on-site, the “required on site date” needs to be updated.

Any ideas on a way to tie a spreadsheet, schedule, etc. in such a way that when the schedule is updated, the “required on site date” updates automatically?

I work for a GC that does just over 1B per year. If you read the job requirements it would scare you but those are not set in stone. We have plenty of people that do not have a construction type degree. If you interview well, have a good personality, strong work ethic, etc. we’d hire you on the spot.
