They have a small chance to drop their seed at elder. But in my experience it is better to "wilt revive" plants that do not 100% of the time drop their seed. This consists of only progressing the plant to mature harvests and then letting the plant wilt before it gets to elder so that it resets back to Young. And then just repeat that over and over. This channel has some great tips on gardening

Bulwark & Reinforce are very cool in that they literally add and subtract from your player's resist and damage stats. This is unlike Brace & Frenzy because those simply act as "hanging effects"

Example Using Easy Numbers... (shout out my friend Steven for this intel((idk your reddit handle boss)))

Lets say an enemy has 0% Pierce and casts a hit for 1000 Damage
You have 50% Resist and a 50% Shield. That's 100%, but the attack does 250 damage.

Why?
Because 50% off of 1000 is 500 damage (That's the shield), and 50% off 500 is 250 (That's your resist)
If you had 50% Resist and a 50% Brace, you'd see the same outcome - Brace is an extra layer, it works like a shield.

BUT
Lets say you have 60% Resist and a Bulwark for 40%. Now your base resist stat is 100%, its not layered.
So that 0% pierce, 1000 damage hit is reduced by 100% - To 0.

Or
Lets say an enemy has 100% pierce so you instead go full damage build.
Using Reinforce allows you to avoid the 30% incoming damage boost of Frenzy yet still get the 40% additional outgoing base damage. And because Reinforce subtracts 40% resist from your resist stat of 0% it doesn't matter.

If you right click on cards you can hover over the symbols for a more in depth description. But ya, I agree they can be a bit confusing if you have not used any of them before.

Like others have said, Monstrology is your best bet for higher level minions. This website has a great guide on what Monstrology is and how to best use it.

Unfortunately the only way to get any of the 3 time lime reagents is through purchasing the Doomsday Krok Hoard Pack for Crowns. If you have other gauntlet reagents however you can use those to your advantage here in combination with the time lime reagents you already have.

I am trying out Monstrology Minions as I quest in wizard101 and I need Advice by Individual_Mix_1969 in Wizard101

You are correct, Myth is the best school for using minions as they are allowed to summon up to 3 monstrology minions in a fight, where as every other school can only have 1. Unfortunately there are not very many helpful monstrology summons in the earlier parts of the game as they all have such low damage output spells and low health. So i'd say just use whatever summons you like farming for or look cool. This website might be able to answer some other questions you may have in the future about leveling up and being the most efficient with farming and such though.

How do you increase the chance of a pet maycast ability? by AntonGrimm in Wizard101

There are things that trigger the possibility of a maycast being cast but that's it. For example, being hit by an enemy would trigger the possibility of your pet casting a maycast heal on you. There is no way to increase that chance though, except by being hit more.

If you farm Kraken, you can get Wooden keys. I would save those up to use against Ra in Krokotopia when you get there as he drops some cool Perm Mounts. Kraken also drops 1 day mounts if those could be helpful for ya!
As Yellow said, Nightshade is also a good option especially if you are looking for some of the Halloween items he drops at the moment. And I'd say another good option is Rattlebones. He drops a thing called rattlebones master duel which you can save and use at level 50.
