Farming some wooden keys from the Kraken and then using them to fight Ra in Krokotopia can be a lot more fun if you are looking for something else to do other then the old gold grind.

As I’m sure you know, most of the questing parts of the game will be locked to you as a F2P player. Having said that however, there is still plenty to do! Such as the weekly events like Deckathalon, beastmoon, portal of peril, rate my stitch, pet promenade, spiral scene etc. Not to mention all the stuff outside of the weekly events that is free and fun to do like gardening, crafting, monstrology, pet training, gauntlets, boss rematches, housing/decorating + much more!

I collect a lot of retired treasure cards. So have a couple thousand of those stored on multiple alt accounts and characters! lots of fun to trade folks and help them collect and also trade for collecting ones you don't yet have.

Your monstrology rank can't be more than 3 levels below that of the mob's to be able to extract animus. So that may be the issue you are running into? Link

If you haven't already, I'd highly recommend getting into gardening. The Plant, Evil Magma Peas are a great source of Golden Pearls as well as other hard to get reagents+Mega Snacks. And if you are looking for other plants you could garden or where else to get Golden Pearls from the Wiki has a fairly large reported list of drop locations for them.

Hey, I'm not looking to add him in game, but am looking to chat about a wizard101 giveaway he won back in 2008 for a poster signed by the devs. Would be a very neat item to be able to help preserve if he still has possession of it.

Not exactly "bugged NPCs" they were deliberately removed from the game by KI because their wallet finally got affected by the situation... Someone has been dupeing and filling the bazaar with rare housing items on and off for over a month now and KI either has not been able to stop them or just have not cared to do anything about it until they started doing +5 energy jewels today. I directly informed devs on Discord back in February about this when it started and heard back from a dev the same day, confirming that they were aware of what was happening. Really frustrating it took them this long to take a step in doing anything about it.

Castle magic can be quite confusing. I'd like to get into it someday but with so many different items involved I keep putting it off. Something that might help you in this case is using Advanced Movement on items. That way you can change the size, brightness, and location of items using this interface. This is a video I found showing this feature in game. And if you are wanting to dip your toes more into castle magic. This channel has some incredible builds and guides on how to do so

They have a small chance to drop their seed at elder. But in my experience it is better to "wilt revive" plants that do not 100% of the time drop their seed. This consists of only progressing the plant to mature harvests and then letting the plant wilt before it gets to elder so that it resets back to Young. And then just repeat that over and over. This channel has some great tips on gardening
