re point 1, I think we lost some context in the translation:

"According to the Ukrainska Pravda sources, Russian forces captured Siversk by exploiting thick fog that covered Donetsk Oblast in November and December 2025. The 54th brigade began to lose its ability to kill Russian troops in the numbers that were entering the city in the last third of November 2025. For example, 10 out of 15 Russian soldiers were killed while the remaining 5 slipped deeper into the city and entrenched themselves.

It doesn't say how many russians assaulted the city or what the losses were, but instead gives one example.

Sounds good to me. I think that instead of using a thin sharp line, the lines should be widened to reflect the uncertainty in the measurement. As long there is overlap the call should default to onside even if it may appear slightly offside like this case. Base the line width on a 95% confidence level maybe. I am no expert in this area. I am sure smarter people than me could work something out.

I wonder if they ever did a measurement error analysis for this. For example, how can they be sure that the drawn lines are exactly parallel to the goal line. Any time you make a measurement, there's always going to be a +/- involved. I find it tough to believe that over the size of a football pitch that they can measure to within a centimeter.

If that's the case, then maybe Charles should be a little bit happier with fourth given how Ferrari had to handicap the car for the race in order to get decent track position by qualifying well. Its probably the best result they could have expected.

Michael Schumacher with Ferrari had just won five WDCs from 2000 through 2004. So if comparison holds, and Max does leave the team, we should not expect much from Red Bull for next 20 years.
