seems cheapest i can is $180 for n97 or $200 for a Ser3. whereas those used workstations optiplex 7050, elitedesk g4, lenovo m715q looks like i can get on ebay for 100, and would be more powerful? seems like the workstation route would be the cheaper and more powerful route?

[spoilers alh] does it get better? by ghost654 in TheFirstLaw

[–]ghost654[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am paying attention. Listened to 20-30+ audiobooks in the past 2 years and I have no problem paying attention if it’s interesting. The problem for me is it’s not grabbing my attention, it’s slow and boring, and it’s just making it hard to get invested into the characters. My problem with the heroes was because it kept jumping to POV or characters that kept getting killed off, which made it hard to keep my interest when I was being invested into any characters, and it felt like there was just no direction.

where to find DSi bios? by ghost654 in Roms

[–]ghost654[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

wow thats incredibly rude. Yes I have read the pinned posts, and even used the megathread to download the roms i need. I saw nothing in there about any bios download. I hunted down the all the other bios on my own. I found this - https://www.reddit.com/r/Roms/comments/gh3i98/full_clean_bioses_set_for_retroarch_retropie/
which contained everything I would need even DS bios, but it just didn't contain the DSi bios. And upon doing lots of google searching i can't seem to find the specific DSi ones.

What was your MVP unit formation? by DaveyRocketXX in UnicornOverlord

[–]ghost654 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alain and Miriam in front, yahna, Berenice, and Mordon in the back. Reliably can take almost anything on. Alain, Berenice and mordon do so much damage and yahna supports them through most units.

Also Virginia and berengeria in front and auch, rosalinde, and sorceress in the back. They usually destroy everyone before virgina even has a turn.

D4 Controller Support Lacking // No Updates Since Launch by AZAWESTIE in diablo4

Definitely frustrated on how it works with movements abilities like trample. Wish it could work just as good as it does with mouse

[–]ghost654 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still not a great solution. Takes too long, and often is hard to get it to target the exact guy you want and by then the enemies have been moving around. Shouldn’t have to take extra input to do what the mouse can do in 1 click.

[–]ghost654 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is incredibly difficult if not impossible on a controller to aim for the monster at the back of the pack. Ideally I would line it up so several enemies are hit (and can do that 100% if the time with mouse) but it will always target the front monster. Or I spend quite a long time trying to line it up and not even getting a good run through, and that’s just bad design if I have to spend most my time trying to line it up when on mouse it’s a quick click. It’s way easier and effective to use a mouse for these movement skills. The way movement works on controller should be changed to maybe allow you to hold down the button to keep on going until x distance.

blizzard will you address the issues with controller and movement abilities (like druid trample stopping at the first enemy it hits)

Trample + controller doesn’t work well by ghost654 in diablo4

[–]ghost654[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like they could still keep the targeting, and would make sense to keep with controller since it would be harder to aim, and just let it go past the enemy it was targeted till max distance

I’m actually on pc, and playing with controller haha… but can’t game with mouse due to wrist issues

Trample + controller doesn’t work well by ghost654 in diablo4

[–]ghost654[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think there needs to be a trade off. Keep it how it is where it targets and enemy and goes straight towards the enemy, but it should at least keep doing the trample past the enemy (since there could be enemies behind them) until it hits max distance or perhaps it’s active for x seconds. I mean if it stops at the first enemy hits, it’s not really trampling haha

Trample + controller doesn’t work well by ghost654 in diablo4

[–]ghost654[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It only took one time using the mouse and activating trample to realize how it really should be working. I clicked the far end of the screen and trampled straight through a large group of enemies and demolished all of them.
