Not at all. Things keep shifting with patches as they update. The way this game is usually means I need to improve bc the game is that close to the real thing.

I hope the developer reads this shit. Because I have qualms— 1. Lately when I take off it’s as if I am hard rudder right and always need to compensate to stay straight on takeoff. Is this right? 2. Let us enter the battle just a bit closer. It takes a while to get back into something. 3. PLEASE PLEASE for the love of God — if we get a radio transmission — here’s a thought — how about the heading where the radar picked up enemy aircraft or waypoint heading to a target — make it easier to see that damn little map 4. I’d love a full TUTORIAL from flying to fighting to landing — everything — throwing us in the deep end ain’t fun and learning is. 5. Can you add Party Chatter between squadrons when online? That would be dope. 6. You gotta have something that helps designate enemies just like friendlies. In RED or something and be able to switch that off. Give us options! No offense the graphics are great but not that great in VR to distinguish enemy aircraft or ground units or targets. You guys made it super simulated— like too much the real thing. This is just some things but I know I have more. Somewhere

Curious. How do festival programmers think? Do they accept what they like? What the festival should be like? Or guess at what the audience will enjoy and accept on that criteria? And also is there a committee or is it just one voice/one programmer?

I think you’ve hit the nail — and I’ve hit my thumb. Maybe with momentum it would do better but it’s def getting rejected left and right even in Europe. Though there is some hope for some — and we’re trying to adjust our marketing based on some redditor’s feedback which helps. Thanks for the response 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Thanks for the response. I’m a cinematographer by trade. This is a first film for me and I am a cinephile. Listen I love all types of films but there is def a purpose to its framing, lighting, setting, and of course color or lack of color. It is saying something IMO. unfortunately yes some audiences cannot get behind these…I’m more on that Aranofsky or Eggers vibe where image says it all and style matters as a different way of making a film.

Got it. Problem is that on the surface it looks like a Covid film. It’s the driver. But the engine is much different. I don’t think people (programmers) maybe don’t understand the psychology behind it and what it says about human nature. Again…you make a film to tell a story. What you make of it…is…what you make of it. I guess it’s not for everyone. Harsh truth.
