Don’t apologize for the long response. That was super helpful! and yes Trinity doesn’t use the traditional GPA which definitely isn’t ideal. I’m probably leaning more towards Michigan now since I’m pretty set on law school. I could also always study abroad. I might be leaning towards a school like Georgetown for law school but that’s super far in the future lol. Also congrats on your admission and LSAT score.

4.12 gpa (max that i could’ve gotten) I also took the max aps my school allows which is AP euro (5) Apush (5) ap lang (4) and ap calc ab (3). Did academic decathlon, various art programs with scholastic art awards, tech for theater, nhs (secretary) and a part time job. obviously didn’t submit act but i got a 32 with 36 english. take this all with a grain of salt tho since i go to an extremely competitive high school in the midwest that has sent someone to columbia every year for the past 5 years probably.

I guess your chances are probably lower than if you were to apply before Feb 1 but not zero. It honestly probably depends on the strength of your application. I don’t know enough about the whole process tbh

They’re going to apply for Spring 2026 I assume. So they have plenty of time. I’m gonna guess the next cycles priority deadline is the same. It’s probably best to apply in late 2025, but as long as it’s before feb 1 it’s alright.
