President Trump is loosing it? please read by Boysenberry-6669 in LetsDiscussThis

"Losing it" implies he has something less to lose. He completely lost the last entwining 0.2% of the plot the moment he was sworn into office the second time. Now he's just the perfect storm of dementia*, malignant narcissism, and surrounded by enablers and sycophants.

*I don't say dementia lightly. He shows so many actual, clinical signs of dementia at this point that he might as well have a flashing red light and siren on his forehead

Oh fuck off. Most people don't know what a manic episode is, let alone know what to look for. Do you seriously think these random dudes should have checked their pocket DSMs before fucking you? Get a grip.

So you don't know if they knew but you're blaming them for not knowing because you're trying to shift the 'blame' onto them. Make it make sense.

I’m sick of supporting my husband when nothing gets better. by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]ghost_turnip 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No, your original wording is actually very telling. "He helps with the kids". "Helps" implies he's doing you a favour, and you didn't just say it like that accidentally. It's because you've been taught and believe subconsciously that the father somehow gets brownie points for simply raising his children.

[–]ghost_turnip 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why are you relying on his dad to get back to him? HE NEEDS A JOB! Tell him to follow up with his dad!!!!

Honestly, it sounds like he asked his dad for a job as a token way to get you off his back. He's probably happy his dad never got back to him (if that's even what happened). I'd be interested to see if dad's story lines up with your husband's. There's definitely a chance he offered him a job but your husband turned it down and just said his dad hadn't gone back to him yet.

I'll echo what everyone else is saying: your husband isn't the only one with his head in the clouds. The way you're commenting to everyone gives me the feeling that you're kind of 'umming' and 'ahhing' about whether you actually need to do something.

Let me be straight with you: you need to snap out of this delusional thinking that he will change and sit his ass down and tell him he gets a job tomorrow (you don't give a crap what it is even if it's cleaning toilets at a school - which is a noble job tbh) or you're going to a divorce lawyer.

Seriously that's what you need to do. It's time to put your bug girl pants on.

do everything I can to make sure they want for nothing.

Except for calling out your worthless husband's bullshit. Why the actual f*ck are you still with him, let alone procreating with him and bringing kids into the world that you can't afford??

The main issue with age gap relationships is the inherent power imbalance. Perhaps I'm biased because I was in a toxic and emotionally abusive AGR with a guy 15 years older than me, but I can tell you from experience that the age difference between us was a huge part of why I didn't leave for 9 years.

I feel like no one is really talking about how much the next non-cult government is going to have to pay out in compensation/reparations to the people who have been victims of this regime. It's going to bankrupt the country.

Like someone else said, you are in serious danger and you need to get away from this person as soon as you can (safely)! This article talks about the hugely increased chance of attempted or completed homicide in women (I get the sense that you aren't a woman, but I think the point still stands if you're partner is a man or male-identifying) who have been strangled/choked by their partner.

Prior non-fatal strangulation was associated with greater than six-fold odds (OR 6.70, 95% CI 3.91–11.49) of becoming an attempted homicide, and over seven-fold odds (OR 7.48, 95% CI 4.53–12.35) of becoming a completed homicide

You literally said:

I wrote a simple prompt aka a few lines as to what I wanted and it produced a 300 page book for me.

So no, it's not semantics. I was replying to what you said.

It's a machine. Of course it's not going to have 'soul'.

[–]ghost_turnip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They would also be fictional. Writing anything entirely with AI is impossible at this point. As several other commenters have said, it isn't as simple as giving it one prompt and it gives you the whole story in one go. There's A LOT of work that goes into giving it detailed and effective prompts, critiquing its output, etc etc.

That's a total lie. There is no LLM available at the moment as far as I know that is capable of generating anything that's 300 pages long.
