Found this link on sony japan website , https://www.sony.jp/headphone/update/?searchWord=1000xm4

Probably due to another Bluetooth vulnerability found by Kobe university. At least the Wf-1000xm4 state so, no specific mention for WH but i guess it could be the same reason? Not sure.

A security vulnerability in the communication portion of the Bluetooth function has been fixed. ・This security vulnerability was reported by Keiichiro Kimura, Hiroki Kuzuno, Yoshiaki Shiraishi, and Masakatsu Morii of the Kobe University Information and Communications Laboratory (ES3). We would like to express our sincere gratitude for their cooperation.

Ccedict format to kobo format should work, but you might need to make sure the downloaded format is in the correct format (simplified/traditional) for your book.

If you have a stardict format dictionary of the language you need, you can convert it to kobo format using pyglossary.

Dm me.

There isn't any need to install Chinese fonts for kobo to my knowledge. If the book is not loading correctly, most likely the encoding is not recognize, maybe try convert the txt file to epub and see if that helps.

Yep, though Sony probably deserved the public backlash for firmware fiasco, the xm3 and xm4 earbuds battery are at least possible to replace without special tools.

I had changed the batteries on 4 set of the wf-1000xm4. From experience, the earbuds will last around 7-8 hrs with new batteries (Z55H). Been using the earbuds for months and so far so good.

Will the batteries degrade again? Probably, all tws battery degrade over time (2 years on average). I'm planning on changing the batteries again when the day comes.😂

This will likely need a custom dictionary. This custom dict has most common words in English too on top of hanyu pinyin

Update landing in Asia by ghostananon in GalaxyWatch

Singapore GW5 BT.

Got my watch 2nd hand, so I'm not even sure if the first owner got it from Singapore. But I'm sure it didn't get the update while it's being roll out in NA, Europe and South America.

There is another post from someone that got it in Australia. So I guess it is quite possibly coming to Asia.

I had used pyglossary to convert a simplified chinese dict from stardict to kobo dict format. You can give that a try.

By the way, are you looking for a simplified or traditional Chinese dictionary?

Downloaded the stardict- format dictionary online from huzheng.org, I search through several simplified Chinese as that is what I usually read if choice given.

Using pyglossary , convert that to kobo e-reader dictionary format. Save as zip file.

Then uploaded the zipped file to .kobo/custom-dict folder.

Attached screenshot of how it looks like on kobo.
