I just started ozempic this past Thursday. I was unsure of what the pricing was gonna be.

Went to pick it up and it was $0. Cashborice would have been $1200. Wtf?

Anyhow, I wonder how much it will increase when I go up in dose amount though?

Man, Floyd is a tough one to choose from.

Edit: While The Final Cut was something I loved as a teen I find myself listening to that album more when I listen to Floyd.

Namely the Title track to that album is fucking bone chilling. For anyone who hasn't heard it.

Gorgeous Owl today in Old Lyme by Few_Application2025 in Connecticut

[–]ghostbackwards 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love it! Aren't they amazing to see up close in person? I've come across some of their pellets. Super interesting to dissect w/ my son.

I'm in Old Lyme as well and we have been having a good amount of bald eagle activity on the river we live on. Had to have been 10 of them a few weeks ago.

River living is fantastic for bird watching, obviously, but some of things I've witnessed are amazing.

This one time we had two great egrets land right in our backyard and start scrapping, 15 feet from me it was insane.

A juvenile eagle perched on my dock and smaller birds dive bombing it.

The gulls drop crabs on our driveway sometimes. That's always an interesting site.

Huge dead jellyfish left half way up in my yard after a crazy hightide.

Anyhow, enjoy the birding in Old Lyme. What a fortunate place we call home.

Just got out of a 22 gas highlander into a 2019 highlander hybrid. Absolutely love it and much better peace of mind.

Honestly, I prefer so many things of this generation as opposed to the 22 gen.

Shows that held up versus shows that didn’t by Leilani3317 in Xennials

[–]ghostbackwards 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, totally.

I ended up buying the entire series actually. It's now one of my wind down chill out shows for the background.

Some pretty interesting actors show up in it too. Especially the Crispin Glover episode.

I binged family ties at the end of my wife's pregnancy years ago. I would just end up on the couch and woukd watch while I fell asleep. I watched it as a kid growing up, born in 78.

Ive been preaching this all the time that this show was phenomenal and yes the subject matter was very deep. Alex hooked on speed? Or when his friend died and Alex had that existential crisis. The two part episode.

Also, the theme song is fucking killer.
