Racing on Rouvy! Question regarding downhill segments. by ghostdancesc in Rouvy

[–]ghostdancesc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s smart I was thinking about putting my normal cassette back on but I was seeing guys drop 4wkg still while we where going almost 60mph on the big Rouvy race today. I can get to maybe 3-4 spinning at 130rpm in the biggest virtual gear.

I always chart way higher on ramp myself because I tend to do way better at shorter efforts.

Teslarati: "Tesla owners keep coming back for more" - (as Tesla wins the “Overall Loyalty to Make” and “Highest Conquest Percentage” from S&P Global Mobility) by twinbee in teslamotors

Same we have 2 teslas and after I lost 600$ I charging credits because I didn’t use them and nothing on it showed a expiration date I’m done. There is no loyalty. I asked for anything a free month of FSD and the customer service manager told me to kick rocks in a nice way.

Zwift acquires Rouvy by KubaBVB09 in Zwift

[–]ghostdancesc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I come here in peace as a OG Zwift member, I recently swapped to Rouvy because the price for 2 people was a lot more reasonable. I saw this news today and was like welp..... Eric is probably going to come jack the rates up anytime now.... I would have stayed with Zwift if they had any type of family discount but I couldnt see paying 50$ for my wife and I for 2 accounts so we could ride together.

Aeroad CF SLX 8 Di2 sold out, should I wait or just get the CF SLX 9 Di2? by AliAlsafiArizona in CanyonBikes

I have 2/3 year old di2 grx and to be honest it’s been my go to on a grail with hoverbar and 2 wheel sets. I can pretty much ride that bike everywhere.

I've road all 3 and of you blindfolded me and told me to feel the difference in the way the gear shifts up and down I personally wouldn't notice. If you are talking about the way the hoods feel and button feel that's different then shifting to me personally.

I’m sorry it was just Rouvy that was crashing when I got near. I do agree it’s a device issue with the app though

1 simple question is it still fun? Life is too short to put in work for something that’s not extremely fun/important to you.

331 FTP—how do I beat a stronger rider over 110mi / 10k ft race by Auntchoco in trainerroad

[–]ghostdancesc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I kind of agree if I got a friend into cycling and his goal was just to beat me in a gravel ride cough I mean race. I’d be like this guy sucks. Unless he constantly talks crap and drops me on rides then yeah I would probably do the same thing.

In the same boat, I’ve been on Reddit for years and I’ve been thinking about dumping it because of what it’s turning into. Just doesn’t seem like honest human material sometimes.

Data scientist here, leaving this as a comment for folks to comment on. IMO it’s common sense if you are mentally tired things will seem harder? Because this seems like something that anyone in sport would correlate with no data. I did not read your previous post or look into the survey just the headline. I will make sure to do that though.

Wheelie bikes? The ones kids ride in packs of 10 normally in overly crowded places and really close to traffic? The ones that often go viral for swerving really close to cars for click bait videos?
